I don’t love red because it’s a trend.
I love it because it has character.

And these red trousers simply gave me another reason to see how many different stories one colour can tell.

Red has an almost endless history.

Red is one of the oldest colours known to humanity. Perhaps even the first colour people consciously used as a pigment.

Around 100,000 years ago, humans were already using red ochre - a natural mineral containing iron oxides. They used it to colour their bodies and objects, and later, the walls of caves.

And red soon became more than just a colour.
It came to represent blood and life, death and power, authority and danger, passion and desire.

Perhaps that’s why red is never completely neutral. It is always a little bit about you.

And the most interesting thing? Red isn’t just one colour. It is an entire territory between orange and purple: tomato, scarlet, carmine, poppy, brick, cherry, wine…

Change the shade - and the mood changes with it.

So I decided to see how many different personalities my red trousers could have. by @queenclassics

An autumn kiss, even though we’re still wrapped in the warmth of summer. 🍂
Golden leaves and this enchanting autumn aura are the only little reminders that October has already arrived.

September was lightning-fast. Interesting, intense, and a little unusual - it went by as if it were just one single day.

And then October 1st reminded me of something: no matter how much circumstances, places, plans, and seasons change, the human factor remains remarkably unchanged.

People still make strange decisions, say things they don’t really mean, think one thing and do another, complicate what could be simple - and sometimes, completely unexpectedly, remind us why life can never be entirely predictable.

Perhaps that’s part of its charm. We can make plans, control the details, and rely on common sense - and then a person comes along and changes the whole equation. 🙂

So October has started rather symbolically: new month, same people. by @queenclassics

Not “socialize” for the sake of being social.
Pay attention to the connections that are real.
To the people you don’t have to impress, explain yourself to, or pretend around. The ones with whom you can simply be yourself - and feel truly seen.

Sometimes, that is the deepest sense of belonging. taken in Manhattan, New York by @queenclassics

I tutaj chcę powiedzieć jednocześnie dwie zupełnie różne rzeczy.

To przełamuje tabu.
Daje wiedzę.
Pozwala kobietom lepiej rozumieć siebie i w odpowiednim momencie szukać pomocy.

Run, fly, swim - it doesn’t really matter how.
What matters is that we keep moving.

Sometimes forward, sometimes in circles, sometimes without knowing where we’re going at all. But as long as there is movement, there is life.

Not everything needs a destination, an explanation, or a carefully drawn route. Sometimes it’s enough simply not to stop.

Cities change. People change. Circumstances change. We change.
And life keeps moving with us.

Run. Fly. Swim.
Not because we know where we’re going,
but because we’re alive enough to keep going. by @queenclassics

A little about safety in NYC.

There are all kinds of opinions on the subject, but I’ll give you mine - as a cautious person and, of course, as a woman. Let me make one thing clear from the start: I didn’t leave Manhattan and, naturally, I didn’t venture down into the subway. So this is strictly my personal experience.

And what surprised me was this: I felt comfortable. I didn’t have to hold on to my Balenciaga like a maniac, expecting someone to professionally extract something from it - as, unfortunately, has happened to me more than once in Paris.

I could casually hold my phone in my hand, take photos of whatever caught my eye, and didn’t spend every thirty seconds looking around in fear that someone might snatch it. Not a single rat 🐀 ran past my nose, and even Godzilla, despite my son’s predictions, never came up from underground. 😆

I also noticed another very pleasant thing - a huge amount of respect for pedestrians. Even when I was wandering around somewhere between Prada, architecture and my own thoughts and casually crossed on a red light 🚥, nobody panicked, honked or tried to educate me through the language of car horns. They simply waited very patiently for this woman to finish crossing.

And finally - the toilets. 🚽
I’m talking only about the ones I personally used - in restaurants and museums. Clean. Toilet paper. And, attention please, paper toilet-seat covers!

In our old lady Europe, I honestly don’t remember encountering such luxury.

So, my personal conclusion about Manhattan: a very pleasant time - if we exclude the fact that tipping is demanded practically everywhere. But that’s a whole separate topic. 😆 taken in Manhattan, New York by @queenclassics
