We were supposed to be celebrating Legacy Africa at the Black Star International Film Festival, but by the time the festival began, we had already lost our producer. 💔
He passed away on Wednesday, just a day before the festival started. It was a huge blow to all of us, and honestly, we didn’t even know how to process it.

But we still showed up. We showed up for the film, for the work, and most importantly, to honour the man who believed in this story and made it possible.

You had a dream, and in bringing that dream to life, you opened doors for so many of us to live out our own dreams too. I’ll always be grateful to have been part of it. ❤️
Your work is still speaking, and your legacy will live on through all of us.
