WHY?!!!! Honestly which panjabi parent doesn’t do this? 😂 #panjabi #funny #parentsbelike #desi by @queeneykaur

I’ve seen too many reels of people saying they’re ashamed of things but why? Let me tell you a few things that I’m not ashamed of…

1.) I’m a 33 year old who lives with her parents! I like to think of us as the 3 musketeers because I know they have my back no matter what.

2.) I really wanted to travel for a long time and I eventually just decided to go this year, thinking it would heal something inside of me and be a life changing experience. But actually travelling made me grateful for what I have and I realised I’m quite happy being at home and in familiar surroundings.

3.) Let me address the biggest issue here (for others) which is, yes I have facial hair and yes I don’t care what you think or say about it. There are many who won’t accept what I look like and to many I look very weird, especially when you pair that up with how I dress…which isn’t very feminine but I’m used to how I look. Don’t get me wrong sometimes it can be difficult but for 33 years of my life I’ve had facial hair, and it’s funny because people look at me like I’m some sort of weirdo but actually it’s a very natural thing you all have it. I just don’t remove mine and you guys just don’t feel comfortable keeping yours or don’t feel pretty maybe I don’t know 🤷🏽‍♀️. But at the end of the day, I’m not asking you to live my life or be like me, you live life how you want to live it, I accept how you live life as you are and you need to learn to accept other people or just don’t say anything and move on!

4.) I’m learning to be grateful. I appreciate this life and feel grateful for all the experiences I’ve had the chance to experience.

Anyways folks I hope you’ve all learnt to just go with the flow, chill, yes we’re getting older and we have many regrets or fears but can you do something about them? If not then learn to let them go and if you can do something then do it. Take care all and smile ☺️ #love #travel #sikh #smile #life by @queeneykaur
