Whenever someone chooses to come into our space, we never take it for granted. We are truly grateful that they choose Queen I AM to pour into our girls.We were honored to be selected as one of this year’s MOTTEP Youth Summit participants, and what an incredible experience it was! The team brought so much valuable information about kidney health and the importance of taking care of our bodies.The girls participated in hands-on healthy food demonstrations where they created delicious yogurt parfaits while learning how colorful fruits and vegetables support different parts of the body. They also enjoyed a relaxing yoga session and had the opportunity to hear from local authors who shared their personal experiences with kidney donation and transplantation. Their stories were powerful, inspiring, and educational.To make the day even more special, the girls received goodie bags, T-shirts, and enjoyed a catered @chipotle lunch.Thank you to the Kidney Foundation and the @clevelandmottep team for choosing Queen I AM and for investing in the lives of our queens. Opportunities like this remind our girls that they only get one body, and caring for it is one of the greatest forms of self-love.We are so thankful for your partnership, your generosity, and your commitment to educating and empowering the next generation. 🌸 Week 7: Bloom Where You’re Planted 🌸We been having so much fun this summer that we almost forgot to share one of our favorite weeks!This week was all about growth—learning that what we choose to nurture is what blooms. We talked about our “soil”: the people, places, and experiences that help us become our best selves.Our young queens:🌼 Painted flower pots🌸 Made pressed flower bookmarks🌱 Took on a STEM challenge to build the strongest, most stable garden⏳ Created time capsules filled with their hopes for the future, memories they want to hold onto from this summer, and the friendships they built along the wayTo wrap up the week, we visited the @clevemetroparks Watershed Nature Center, where the girls designed and decorated their own kites. It was the perfect blend of creativity, STEM, and a reminder that, just like a kite, we can soar when we have the right foundation.Growth doesn’t happen overnight. It takes patience, care, and believing in yourself—even when you can’t see the progress yet. Watching these young queens bloom has been one of the greatest gifts of the summer. 🌷💛 by @queeniamcrown_

But here’s the secret..Our goal isn’t to create professional dancers.Our goal is to help young queens discover confidence in their bodies through movement.If you’ve ever worked with girls, you know that as they grow through puberty, their bodies begin to change. One of the things I love most about Queen IAM is that we don’t believe we have to do this work alone. We believe in the power of partnerships with organizations that inspire our girls to dream bigger, step outside of their comfort zones, and discover just how capable they truly are.Every experience is an opportunity for our queens to realize that they can do hard things, be brave, and accomplish anything they set their minds to. @motogocleveland is one of the coolest experiences our girls look forward to every single summer. It’s more than just a field trip—it’s an opportunity to build confidence, challenge themselves, and create memories that remind them there are no limits to what they can achieve.Thank you, @motogocleveland , for continuing to partner with Queen IAM and for creating meaningful experiences that empower the next generation of young queens. Week 5 Recap: Self-Care Week 💚The weeks are flying by, and each one has been filled with so much fun, learning, and unforgettable experiences!This past week, our focus was Self-Care. Together, we explored practical, hands-on ways to care for ourselves mentally, emotionally, and physically.Our girls created personalized room signs, transforming their bedrooms into sanctuaries and safe spaces where they can rest, reflect, and recharge. They also made their own DIY room sprays, learning how aromatherapy can help promote relaxation and create a calming environment wherever they are.We kept the energy high with an incredible dance experience led by two amazing dance instructors @akirraofficial , encouraging movement, confidence, and joyful self-expression.In the kitchen, @chef.conscious challenged the girls with a fun “Chopped” Cooking Competition, where they worked together, got creative, and prepared delicious dishes using surprise ingredients.To wrap up the week, we welcomed @pads_cleveland , who led an empowering conversation on hygiene, menstrual health, and the history of menstrual pads and our menstrual cycles. The girls asked thoughtful questions and gained valuable knowledge about caring for their growing bodies.What an incredible week of learning! From creating peaceful spaces to understanding the importance of caring for our minds, bodies, and emotions, our young queens continue to grow in confidence and self-love. We love when everything comes full circle. 💚✨Before Queen IAM I use to run an ALL Girl Summer camp called “Girl Power” through @oda_cle ODA was my first big girl job when I was 19 years old, and what a blessing it is to return back years later—not only to serve their scholars, but to reconnect with some of the staff who were once my ODA scholars as well. What an incredible full-circle moment and such a beautiful experience.I am so grateful for the opportunity to partner with ODA and pour into young people by teaching them the importance of loving who they are, embracing what makes them strong, understanding the power of affirmations at such a young age, and creating space for movement, games, joy, and simply being themselves.Thank you, ODA, for inviting Queen IAM into your summer camp experience. And to my ODA girls @joiethedon thank you for seeing the value in Queen IAM then and recognizing the impact of Queen IAM today.Full-circle moments are a reminder that purpose always finds its way back around. 👑💚 by @queeniamcrown_

Our favorite day of the year! Young Queens from @queeniamcrown_ filled up the shop for a day of project based learning! These STEM explorers were split into the "Bigs" and "Littles" this year for a new age-targeted program that added in "pin the tail on the motorcycle," and a half-day Honda CB 350 build for the older Queens. Thank you to all the students, and to our incredible volunteers who knocked it out of the park, again! Special thanks to our intern, Juls, who has taken over teaching the Kickstart lesson!
