Christopher Columbus called the native people "indios" (Indians) because he believed he had reached the Indies.

Some seasons teach you to let go, forgive quietly, and leave what hurt you in Allah’s hands. Keep moving forward with a peaceful heart, grateful for the moments Allah gives you and trusting that He knows what’s in every heart.

I was only trying to capture the beautiful view of Islamabad… and somehow, this little moment found its way into the frame.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Two people, a city glowing below, and a moment that wasn’t planned but somehow made the picture feel even more beautiful. Some of the sweetest memories are the ones we never meant to capture.

I wrote this on June 7. What do you think?
.
“How can I ever put into words
everything my heart feels for you?

There isn’t enough ink in this world,
nor enough paper,
to write the depth of my love for you.

If I could,
I would fly a thousand miles
just to feel the warmth of your embrace,
to rest in your arms,
and let my heart speak without saying a single word.

I would share my laughter with you,
wipe away your tears,
and fill our days with smiles.
Even if I try to scare you and instead make you laugh,
those moments are treasures I hold close to my heart.

One day, In shā’ Allāh,
we won’t have to count our love
one month at a time.

One day,
every sunrise and every sunset
will find us together,
sharing ordinary moments
that will mean everything to us.

Until then,
I hope every visit, every hug, every goodbye,
shows you what words alone never could—

That you are my greatest blessing.
My peace.
My favorite part of this life.

Alhamdulillah for you.

by the mercy of Allah,
my forever.

I love you beyond words.” Xoxo Carla

*Pakistan, The Land Of Pure*
.
Pakistan, the Land of Pure
A bouquet of very many ethnic flowers
With their sincerity hospitality and morality
With their high claims like high towers
A blend of people from the village and city
Land of lovers, sophists and the saints Right from Siachin down to the hot desert What a wonderful picture but it paints Austerity, solidarity and peace to be alert
Against every heinous crime, dirty design Of all those who carry hatred and contempt Strength of faith makes them but to define Their way of life makes them to but exempt
Beautiful valleys and wonderful mountains
Make it more beautiful as tourist attraction
Water flows from natural sprinkling fountains To dominate the scenario but in every section
Pakistan is the land of clean and pure to see Its my heart and my heart beat to but swing
As a solider of the land I would but defend thee It is a chain of love bond from string to string

Sun-kissed shores where the warm winds blow,
Where the Pacific dances with a gentle glow.
The Queen Mary rests in the harbor’s embrace,
A vibrant, sprawling, and sun-soaked place.
Palm trees sway along the busy strand,
As soft, white clouds drift over the sand.
From the bustling pier to the shoreline’s reach,
There is no place like Long Beach.
