A beautiful memory play that chronicles the lives of several generations of CUBAN WOMEN.

It testifies to the power of forgiveness, compassion, and healing. Set in both pre- and post-revolutionary Cuba, the plot pivots on Margarita, an exile residing in the United States, who attempts to come to terms with her divided identity, a traumatic past she has suppressed, and her fear of sharing her heritage with her daughter.

As the past and present collide, the play examines how memory, silence and survival shape family relationships.

So I didn’t get to win the rookie horror ticket lottery, but I got a last-minute ticket to this amazing show! I loved the two seasons that were on TV and on stage it totally works! A musical with a lot of heart and the very best of golden age nostalgia. I hope it goes well tonight at the Tony’s!!! by @queennicky88
