Kingdom of the Two Moons by @alexandraedenthomashoff Melodyโ€™s desperate fight for freedom after escaping a ruthless magic harvester who exploited her rare gifts. Her hope is short lived when the dangerous Fae warrior Riven captures her and takes her to the Court of the Two Moons, ruled by Caryan, a mysterious fallen angel. As Melodyโ€™s powers awaken, she becomes entangled in a sinister prophecy, dangerous secrets, and an intense attraction to two very different men. I loved the dark, atmospheric world filled with Fae, witches, angels, and tangled court politics. Caryan and Riven were fascinating, morally complicated characters, while Blair brought a fierce personality and some much appreciated attitude. However, I found the beginning overwhelming, with so much lore and several perspectives to absorb. Some familiar romantasy elements also made parts predictable, but the slow burn and unexpected revelations kept me invested. I finished desperate for more and am going straight into the second book because I need to know what happens next! I recommend this book to anyone who loves: โ€ข Morally grey characters โ€ข Prophecy โ€ข Multiple POVs โ€ข Dark and brutal fantasy โ€ข Fae, witches and shifters โ€ข Claws and fangs โ€ข Forced proximity What genre do you like to read? #bookish #bookreview #noxus2027 #bookstagram #darkfantasy by @queenofvelaris.21
