LADIES AND NONBINARY GRAPPLERS! We’re pleased to announce a charity event Sunday August 23, 12:00PM - our very own Professor Lizz will present a unique ecological approach to guard passing, followed by friendly rolls. Charity donations are optional but graciously accepted, 100% of proceeds go to a local org supporting SA survivors. This event is open to all schools and affiliations so spread the word and bring your whole crew! by @queensjiujitsu

THANK YOU to the the students at Queens Jiu Jitsu and the larger Jiu Jitsu community for coming together to support the victims of the earthquakes in Venezuela. We’re also grateful for @neoguido & Nick Ortiz for teaching at the event, @jlh_music for MCing and @lizzinhaa for generally helping out during the event. Over 2k raised in a couple of hours during the class and thousands more through Venezuelan students at the gym! Well done - see you on the mats! by @queensjiujitsu

Saturday July 11 at 12:00pm we’re running a special charity event benefiting the relief efforts following the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. We’re psyched to have Nick Ortiz and @neoguido teach techniques 12-1:00pm and then open the mat up for rolls after. This is a donation based event, suggested donations are $30 but any amount of donation is accepted happily (some level of donation required). In addition to hosting the event, Queens Jiu Jitsu will match donations 10% up to 1k so 110% of proceeds will go to the relief efforts. This event is open to everyone who trains jiujitsu, all schools and affiliations welcome, but if you’re a total noob with no BJJ training sit this one out. by @queensjiujitsu
