Semicolo reportedly had another woman.

And when his two sons—young men aspiring to become musicians and still living under their father’s roof—allegedly discovered him with the woman at his hotel, the situation quickly spiraled out of control.

According to accounts surrounding the case, the brothers didn’t simply confront their father.

In 2013, a 75-year-old Texas man named Chung Kim had endured months of hell from his upstairs neighbors.

🚨WOW: In 1998, a 13-year-old girl was abducted and raped at knifepoint in Alicante, Spain. The rapist, 63-year old Antonio Cosme, was sentenced to 9 years in jail.

7 years later, in 2005, the victim’s mother, María del Carmen García, was waiting at a bus stop when she saw a man approaching.

“How’s your daughter doing?” the man asked with a smirk on his face.

It was her daughter’s rapist.

Antonio was out on day release.

Enraged by what had just happened, Maria ran to the nearest store, purchased 1.5 litres of gasoline, and walked into the bar that Antonio had just entered.

She doused him head-to-toe with gasoline, lit him up, and stood back and calmly watched as her daughter’s rapist burned alive in front of her eyes.

Maria was sentenced to 9.5 years in jail for her act of revenge, but was released in 2018 after serving 5.5 years.

THE OTOKOTO HORROR: (Reader Discretion is Advised)

In September 1996, Owerri was about to witness one of the most shocking murder cases in Nigeria’s history.

For years, the city had been known for its calm streets, busy markets, and growing class of wealthy businessmen. But beneath that peaceful surface, rumours of mysterious disappearances, ritual killings, and people becoming rich almost overnight were beginning to spread.

Then, one afternoon, an eleven-year-old boy named Anthony Ikechukwu disappeared.

Anthony was a young groundnut hawker who lived with his uncle in Amakohia. According to the account that later emerged, someone lured the boy away with the promise of a big sale.

Anthony never returned.

Hours later, a 32-year-old gardener named Innocent Ekeanyanwu boarded a motorcycle carrying a heavy plastic bag on his way toward the home of one Chief Leonard Unaogu, located in Eziama, Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State..

But the motorcyclist noticed something strange.

The bag was leaking.

And what was dripping onto the motorcycle was blood.

Suspicious, the cyclist alerted the police at a checkpoint.

When officers opened the package, they were confronted with a horrifying discovery.

Inside was the freshly severed head of eleven-year-old Anthony Ikechukwu.
Innocent was arrested immediately.

And what he told the police next would set off a chain of events that would eventually throw the entire city into chaos.

In his first statement, taken by a police constable, Innocent reportedly said he had taken Anthony to the secluded banks of the Mbaa River near Ikeduru, where the boy was killed and his head removed.

He allegedly claimed that the boy’s headless body had been buried there.

At that point, something important was missing from the story.

There was no mention of Otokoto Hotel.

There was no mention of its owner, Chief Vincent Duru.

And there was no allegation that Anthony had been killed inside the hotel.

After first meeting in 1965 and marrying in 1969, Betty Broderick stood by her husband, Dan Broderick, for many tough years.

She worked multiple jobs and raised their children at the same time, to financially support his dreams, while he studied to become a doctor and later while he attended law school.

After completing his education, Dan became a wealthy and well-known attorney in San Diego in the late 1970s.

Together, they built a successful life.

Then, in 1983, Dan hired 21-year-old Linda Kolkena as his legal assistant. Betty immediately suspected they were having an affair, which Dan denied for nearly two years, calling Betty “crazy” and paranoid.

In 1985, Dan finally moved out and admitted the truth. He bought his own house and openly began a relationship with Linda, making her his office manager.

The relationship caused deep pain, and Betty and Dan went through a long and bitter divorce. Their marriage officially ended in 1989.

Using his immense legal expertise, Dan completely outmanoeuvred Betty in court. Dan utilized legal loopholes to withhold financial funds, sell their marital home without her consent, and secure sole custody of their children.

Betty was being completely erased from the life she spent 15 years funding and building.

Just three months after divorce from Betty was finalized, Dan married Linda, and that’s where the story escalates.

Six months later, on November 5, 1989, Betty entered the couple’s home using a key she had taken from her daughter.

She went into their bedroom while they were asleep and fatally sh*t both of them. Linda passed away at the scene, and Dan later passed away from his injuries.

Betty was arrested and was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison.

In June 2018, violence reached the village of Nghar in Plateau State, Nigeria. As gunmen moved through the area, Imam Abubakar Abdullahi opened his mosque and his home to 262 Christians fleeing for their lives.

Then the attackers came to his door.

Abdullahi stood his ground and told them that everyone inside was Muslim. The gunmen eventually left.

All 262 Christians survived.

No weapons. No security detail. Just an elderly imam who decided that protecting human life mattered more than religious differences.

His courage later earned him the 2019 International Religious Freedom Award from the U.S. State Department.

TUNDE SALAU: The LASU SUG President Who Declared War on Cultism—And Paid With His Life

It was 2001 at Lagos State University, and a young Business Administration student named Tunde Salau had just risen to the most powerful student position on campus: President of the Student Union Government.

But Tunde was not stepping into office with ordinary student politics on his mind.

He was coming in with a score to settle.

Not long before his election, someone close to him—a fellow student leader and chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Lagos Axis—had been brutally murdered in what was suspected to be a cult-related attack.
