God, I thank You. 💛

I don’t even know where to begin. In Fall 2016, I stepped onto Alabama State University’s campus as a bright-eyed freshman with big dreams, endless prayers, and no idea how much this journey would shape me. Now, exactly 10 years later, I’ll be returning not as that same teenager… but as a Doctoral Student. 🥹
A DOCTORAL. STUDENT.
There were moments I wanted to give up, moments I questioned myself, moments I didn’t know how everything would come together; but God never stopped writing my story. Every setback, every lesson, every tear, every victory has led me right here. This is more than an accomplishment for me; it’s a reminder that God’s timing is always perfect.

To Bama State, thank you for choosing me again, for continuing to pour into me, and for allowing me to come back home. It will FOREVER be a GREAT time to be a Hornet. 🐝💛🖤

And God… thank You for trusting me with this next chapter. I pray I continue to walk in purpose, lead with grace, and make my family, my community, and my younger self proud.

I’m honestly speechless. I love my STUDENTS and I mean that! God has been so good to me. I cannot stop crying. I’ve declared this WILL be MY year and he keeps pouring out his blessings on me.
