current read & coffee ☕🍂

happy mid week all!! I'll be so real with you I have been in and out of books just trying to find one that really resonates with me. I'm not in the mood for anything it seems 🧸 It's also made me really lazy to post anything ..

but it's a perfect cold gloomy autumn day so I figured this would be the perfect book to start! wish me luck that this keeps my attention ✌🏼🎃

Send over your book recs, I like them dark, and spooky!! 💀 by @queenvreads

what this week 🍂🧸

Happy Sunday!! I hope the first week of fall was a lovely one! ☕ It was a busy week for me, and ended with my sister's birthday and a TCG expo! picked up some pokemon 🥳

I got out of my reading slump this week.. Im in a specific mood right now that I need thriller mixed with some spooky atmosphere. When I try anything else I stall.. so just need to ride the wave.

📚currently reading: literally just finished the sun down motel, really good! It had the vibes I was looking for. and at the start of the week I finished the night watcher and also really liked that one !! Can't believe I waited so long to pick those up. I think I'll start The Book of Cold Cases next!!

📺Watching: it's the last week of BB28 so once that comes to an end I'll have some space on my tv time for something else. I'm waiting a few episodes before I binge AHS, and I'm really excited for haunted hotel S2, so I started rewatching s1 to get back into it!

what is everyone reading now? 🥮🌰
have a great week! by @queenvreads

what this week 🍂☕️🪵

happy Sunday!! just like that summer is officially over 🥮🍁 it's definitely fleece zip up weather now, gone are the humid mornings!! this was also a really busy week for me at work and I ended the week wedding dress shopping with my sister! it was also the 30th celebration of pokemon (it's a wild time to have gotten into this hobby) 😆 AND I made friends with a blue jay 🐦

📚 reading: I haven't moved from page 30 of big bad wolf since Tuesday ... so today my goal is to just chill and read.

📺 watching: big brother, which is wrapping up soon!! mobland S2 just came out, so I'll definitely be watching that, as well as AHS!! also, I am SO EXCITED for the love hypothesis 🧪🥼🔬🩷

🐿️🌰 fun fall fact: eastern grey squirrels really ramp up their food caching this time of year, hiding nuts all over the place to help get them through winter!!

-The Pumpkin Spice Café
-The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn
-Anathema
-Phantasma
-Witchcraft for Wayward Girls
-If We Were Villains

I absolutely ADORE TPSC and I reread it every year since it came out!! And I'll probably do so again soon.. it always gets me out of a slump!!

What this week 🍂🤎

happy sunday!! how is the weekend already almost over?! I swear they go by so fast

It was actually a pretty eventful week.. I went to an expo for card trading, collectibles, video games, etc. and yup, stood in line for 2 hours at the pokemon pop up. so apparently I'm collecting pokemon now 👀

I also spent a day in Ottawa, which is always a fun little time. I also met Canadian indie author Lauren Flynn and picked up signed copies of her books!! which I'm so excited to read 📚

🧸 Currentlly Reading: I'm reading You'll Love It Here by Natalie Sue and I'm enjoying it. But I was really in the mood for a good horror, but nothing stuck! they kept on being DNFs... I think I'll read an autumn ish romance next? Or maybe Big Bad Wolf... stay tuned 🍂

🕯️ Watching: BB28! it's crunch time!! if you saw the last eviction, please DM me to chit chat 🫠 I think I might rewatch Wednesday for the vibes until AHS comes out 🪦

If anyone has some standalone paranormal or dark romance suggestions send them over 👀🖤have a great week!! by @queenvreads

what this week 🏕️🍷🌲⛳🐿️

Happy long weekend !! This week was a busy one!! I golfed a few times, just making the most of it before the szn is over!! Then went to a cottage with friends, and ended the weekend at a card trading expo 😀 I may take up collecting some myself. And of course I ate a lot 😅

📚Currently reading: Craven Manor and so far it's good. If you have ever read a Darcy coates book you'll know they're sort of quirky (at least to me) and I like it

I also received my pre order of How To Build A Haunted House : The History of a Cultural Obsession. I'm really excited to get to it 🏚️

📺Watching: Big Brother and we are finally at the jury portion of the game so things are getting spicy. I'm also nearly done my rewatch of community. It's so good and just laugh out loud funny, its one of my favorites. I am looking forward to American horror story new season!!

Choose my next read 🏚️

I finished Heart Of Glass.. it was alright, really not as good as I hoped.

I've been wanting to pick up a horror, and why not start today🤠 I have a few sitting around in my library already so I'll start there. I love a haunted house.. give me the conjuring, murder house ... The September house.. anything like that and I'll eat it up 🍂🪾

Incidents Around the House is definitely a candidate, the trailer for the movie looks SO good!! (terrifying) Craven Manor too sounds right up my alley... maybe I start there and work my way up 🏚️ I am for sure going to lose sleep after reading these!! but that's the fun part!!

which should I start with?! have you read any of these? any other good recs? 🏚️🪾🍂 by @queenvreads

August wrap up ☀️🐿️⛳📚

first of all, happy September!! 🎃🍂 where did the time go?? I swear I blinked and August is over..

Looking back at what I read, this was a 5 star month!! It's funny because I forgot what I even read til now 🤣 These were mostly kindle/ audiobooks 📱🎧

-Getting Away with Murder 5⭐

The Mind F*ck Series (Reread)
-The Risk 5⭐
-Scarlet Angel 5⭐
-All the Lies 5⭐
-Paint It All Red 5⭐

-Nasty Little Secrets 5⭐
-The Secrets We Hide 5⭐

I did have some slumpy moments which led me to reread the mindfck series. This happens to me more often now.. where I need to be super drawn into the book or I lose focus. I'm ready for all the spooky vibes in September!

currently reading 📚📖

When You See Me by Lisa Gardner

I bought this book because I loved the neon green and it got great reviews. It's actually book 12 of this series, but it can be read as a standalone ..BUT as I started it.... it sounded familiar.. and I realized it was an audio I DNFd a few months back 🤣

so now that I own the book I am DETERMINED to get through it.. but I'm struggling 😅

this isn't the first time that this happens to me 🤣🤣
