Repost from a community member: Walking back to our car from the playground with child and husband in tow, playing a push/pull tugging game, when this homophobic asshole employee of V3 Flatbread Pizza in Lawrenceville came out and stopped our 4-year-old to harass him about whether or not we were related to him and THEN flagged down a passing cop to claim that he saw me BEAT him. Lindy says “I didn’t like that guy. He was bad! I was scared when he shouted at us.” Thanks for scaring our child, you fucking bigot. Get your eyes checked and leave our family alone. Call for mutual aid ❤️

Eli (they/them) and Chris (he/they) are a queer couple located in Pittsburgh. Chris is a musician and Eli is an artist. They are both currently battling physical and mental health disabilities and struggling to find and maintain safe and affordable housing. They are seeking mutual aid from their local community to cover costs and needed items that are not currently covered by their current resources, such as laundry, car maintenance and repairs, household needs and
supplies for their ESA’s.

“This fund aims to cover top surgery expenses for M, a 22 year-old non-binary writer, artist, and teacher. They are originally from the Pittsburgh, PA area, and are currently living and studying in Ohio. They take pride in being an openly queer educator, and hope to spend their life enabling LGBTQ+ youth to express themselves through the arts.

“Hey everyone, I’m Gideon. I’m a trans man in Pittsburgh, PA who is trying recover from taking a work from home job that ended up being a scam and financially decimated me. I am also unable to work due to a ongoing uncontrolled seizure disorder that has left me with medical and ambulance bills.
As background, I worked in nursing for most of my life, but with EDS, POTS, two full spinal surgeries, and PTSD I no longer could take the physical and emotional toll of nursing. I left my job to take a pretty well paying work from home position I thought was going to be more manageable for me. Unfortunately, the job turned out to be a scam and ghosted me and I was never paid. They also likely stole my identity (which is neither here nor there since I have no money and my credit isn’t great). I’m behind on rent and bills and am seeking to raise money to get back on my feet as I apply for disability and try to find a part time work from home position.
I know we are all horrendously broke and inflation is killing us but I was encouraged by a friend to ask for help, so here I am. Thank you for your time and know I will use any money to help me pay bills, pay rent, and buy groceries until I find a new job. If you can’t help I’d appriciate if you shared this. Thank you all!
