LGBTQ Muslim orgs say no to censorship!

Just as we’ve seen with the criminalization and political suppression of Palestine solidarity organizing, censorship often begins with targeting some groups—but quickly impacts all marginalized communities. Book bans didn’t start with queer books, and they won’t stop there.

Join us in resisting Opt-Out under the guise of religious freedom! Denying access to LGBTQ affirming curriculum only endangers our youth and communities, leading to right-wing capture. 🌈 📚 by @queercrescent

Join us this Friday at 12pm ET | 9am PT for “Self-determined Muslimness: Queering our Practices and Rituals” led by Dr. Nidal Karim, part of our ongoing Ramadan practice series.

Queer and trans Muslims deserve more than just visibility—we deserve a political home where we can heal, organize, and build power together. That’s why we created the Constellation, Queer Crescent’s membership program. It’s a space to connect, grow, and take action for our collective liberation. 🌟
