Had to do a second Heated Rivalry nail art design!

Joined a HR collab for this one, thank you @caseythelacquerist and @shanneys.polish.diary for hosting and giving us the space in the group chat to share HR memes and vids and geek out together

I used my most wintery polish for this one & went with one of the most iconic scenes from the show, Shane's hospital monologue. The words are together without spacing on purpose to mirror what has become the meme willyoucometomycottagethissummer thanks to @hudsonwilliamsofficial 's perfect line delivery

I need to do another reheat (rewatch) soon I gotta say, 3 times does not feel like enough. Maybe more manicures too

Huge recommend if you haven't seen Heated Rivalry yet! You know a tv show is special when it makes you feel things you haven't felt in a long time.

I'm not in NYC, nor have I ever been to the US.
But @zohrankmamdani 's campaign this year has had a significant global impact and has truly started to revolutionise the way people think about and engage with politics & the way politicians do their job. I haven't been able to look away. It has filled me, and tons of other non-US residents, with hope.

Politics that puts community and the needs of working class people at its centre is the only way forward. And a young, brown, Muslim, immigrant, pro-Palestine, anti-capitalist, anti-billionaire, trans ally, candidate about to win a huge election in one of the largest and most powerful cities in the world...honestly has been making me cry a lot recently.

If you live in NYC, please go out and vote tomorrow, Tuesday November 4th. It's not a given, this is only possible if people go out and vote. Polls are open 6am to 9pm. If you know anyone who lives in NYC, ask them if they've got a plan to vote. This shit's gonna have a lot of influence globally, we HAVE TO show the billionaires they don't own us. Things NEED to start changing.

I did this nail art inspired by @billieeilish in honour of going to see her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour. At the moment when I did this manicure I had no idea I would get to see her not just the once, but twice! What an incredible privilege, best live show of my life

The neon green is a reference to her iconic neon green hair from years ago, the crown on the thumbnail is a reference to the song You Should See Me in a Crown, the flowers on the index nail reference the song Wildflower. And of course got the initials BE and Bad G for the song Bad Guy on there too. The undead arms coming out of the ground aren't a direct reference to anything but fit the vibe
