Riikka is a pansexual genderqueer performance artist currently living in St Leonards-On-Sea. Her earlier performances consisted mostly of extreme body art (flesh hook hanging, cutting, piercing), BDSM and fetish shows in Torture Garden and other events in Finland, UK and Europe. Later she focused on quirky burlesque acts and was nominated for the Erotic Awards in 2010. Riikka has also done modelling and acting, both for the mainstream and fetish media.

Olly is a Queer Artist and Life Model with a socially engaged research practice using queer methodologies to explore their own and shared experiences through painting drawing performance and conversation. They have worked as an associate lecturer with CSM supporting students studio practices and have also been modelling with Miles and QLDC since 2020. Olly has recently been commissioned to develop a performance they did during a recent residency to be a part of the Jaywick Open 2026; a collaboration between CSM and Essex County Council

Queer Life Drawing Club late night special at Hastings Museum, hosted by Miles Coote as part of Home Live Art events and featuring artists and models: Rikka Rubinstein, Olly Treasgold (@queerfatmodel ), Daniel Torquato (@akameaty ) and Cazimi (@spiritdoll.uk ).

The evenings session will focus on erotic performance, queer art and archival practice, subverting the artefacts and spaces on display for queer auto ethnographic experiences. We welcome you to join in the conversation, drawing and posing. Art materials are provided.

Join us for Newham LGBT+ History Month at Stratford Library @newhamlondon on Wednesday the 4th and Saturday the 7th of February for a fun filled Queer LDC session of queer life drawing and conversations with the theme: Life Drawing Cafe - Bring Your Own Queer Object.

These sessions will focus on sharing histories through a queer methodology of life drawing and archival practice. We welcome you to bring a queer object that represents the ‘Here and Now’. This session is led by Miles Coote and Luce Russell (from @peckham.lifedrawing )with guest model Aslie Pitter @aslie.pitter . There will be an opportunity to pose with your queer objects.

In addition to drawing life models, focus is given to developing conversations about nudity, sexuality and queer theory in relation to queer bodies and sexual health.

As part of Peckham Queer Art Boot Fair, the Pidgin Library is thrilled to present a panel talk with two of the contributors in our Queer collection, Samuel Zhang and Wilson So. In their self- published titles, both London-based artists explored bodily and emotional intimacy, memories and lived experiences as queer individuals from a diasporic Chinese background. The talk is moderated by Wenxi Liao, co-founder of the Pidgin Library, and is accompanied by a collection showcase of queer-themed multilingual publications. @thepidginlibrary (@studiovoltairelondon )
