Join us on September 26th for a group hike at Angel Falls via Willow Creek trail in the Sierra National Forest 🏔️

We will be meeting at 8:30 am on Saturday morning to explore this stunning trail! We will be meeting at the unmarked parking area West of the Willow Creek Bridge off of Road 247.

It is our goal to facilitate a SAFE and welcoming hiking experience for anyone who wishes to join. Due to the nature of this hike submissions are limited. Please only fill out RSVP if you’re certain you will be able to attend.

➡️  Saturday, September 26 at 8:30am!

🅿️ Directions/Parking: Direct coordinates to parking area provided at the end of this RSVP.

⏰Meeting time: 8:30AM plan to take off by 8:45AM.

🥾Length of trail: about 3 miles out-and-back/loop.

👣Time: We’ll be hiking + then plan to hang out & have lunch for a total of around 4-6 hours or so!

‼️Difficulty: moderate (we like to take our time as a group & take in the scenery, any experience level is welcome!)

🎒What to bring: sunscreen/sun protection (hats, long sleeves, sun glasses, etc.), plenty of water, your favorite hiking snacks, lunch, reliable shoes and BUG SPRAY (this hike is known to be bug-heavy)!🦟 Multiple areas with poison oak, so long pants are recommended. 👖

⚠️Challenges: Please Read ⚠️ Angel Falls, like all elements of nature, is as equally dangerous as it is beautiful. The trail is known to be slippery at times due to the slick rock, so please remember to watch your footing and be mindful of your surroundings. There have been multiple accidents & deaths due to the slippery rocks, especially if attempting to get close to the falls. Nature is a force of its own and although we cannot control the elements, we can control ourselves and must be aware of our personal limits.

Before the hike, we will be meeting in the parking lot for introductions! ✨ by @queersoutside559

We’re back on! 🥾 Join us for a group hike in the Southern California Edison Forest, following part of the Chipmunk Cove Trail to access Osprey Cove in Shaver Lake! 🌊

Another high elevation hike to get away from the heat ☀️

🗓️ When: Sunday, August 30th at 8:30AM!

📍Where: Chipmunk Cove Trail 🐿️

❗️Note: Only part of this route is listed as a searchable trail on All trails as “Chipmunk Cove Overlook”. Rest assured, we have recently enjoyed this route multiple times. 🤗

🅿️Parking: Free large dirt lot (carpool encouraged).

🥾Length of trail: ~4 miles out & back. Plan on being friendly and social as we’ll be hanging out at Shaver Lake for a total of around 4-6 hours or so!

‼️Difficulty: Easy to moderate (we like to take our time as a group & take in the scenery, any experience level is welcome!).

🎒What to bring: sunscreen/sun protection (hats, long sleeves, sun glasses, etc.) as burns are more likely at higher elevations! Also, plenty of water, your favorite hiking snacks, and reliable shoes! Optional: A swimsuit to play in the water, and a towel to dry off! 🏊‍♀️

⚠️ Some challenges include hot sun, partial shading and gentle elevation decline. First half of the trail is exposed to the sun, but the second half is shaded in the forest.

⭐️Before the hike, we will be meeting at the start of the trail head for introductions! 💫 Please RSVP via link in our bio to receive coordinates & feel free to DM us if you have any questions! See y’all outside soon!! 💖 by @queersoutside559
