Delighted, elated, over the moon EXCITED to announce… Hairpins is coming back to Austin this August 💜💜💜 We had SUCH a good time with the Austin sapphics, queer cuties, and gender-diverse community for our first visit in May—you all immediately made Texas feel like home! And we knew when we came back we wanted it to be with the incredible team at @thevioletcrown_atx once again! Our first Hairpins in Austin 🙂‍↕️🥹😅 Woooooowie you queers know how to party… and somehow create the ultimate patio vibe all at once (we heard being outside was an Austin thing and we lowk ate it up) We truly could not be more grateful to @thevioletcrown_atx for being the most gracious and intentional hosts for our first Texas pop-up party. Creating transient sapphic and gender-diverse spaces literally would not be possible without the support of businesses doubling down, ready to give the community a home whether it’s during a Hairpins event or regular hours 💜 The same is true for local queer artists! @queervinylco brought us the perfect mix of house, pop, and dance music to keep the dance floor packed all night! What can we say? We’re a b*tch for a 2000s pop throwback. Biggest thank you of all goes out to the Austin queer community—thank you for your courage to let your hair down.
