Landfill Ghillie

Skirt and hooded harness top made using material destined for landfill after being marked not fit for sale at an opshop. Base layer is an old sheet, clothing that was arranged, stitched, and hand tacked all sourced from the remainder of the waste pile from Our Circular Collective's Transpose exhibit. Also a great commentary on executive dysfunction and having the pile of clothes in the corner of the room getting up on their own.

Queer By Design: A Rubberised Yarn

An experimental Queery This look for @revivalrunwayfashion 's Queer By Design

Ultimately this look did not make it to runway due to technical difficulties making it unsuitable for the event. Dress with full sleeves, train, and face visor constructed from secondhand crochet blankets. the resulting garment was the coated in a silicone compound mix (with the gracious help and space of @emipelidesign as I could not fit it in my own studio and finish it solo due to it's size) creating a rubberised textured finish to the garment.
