The day’s haul

A little too antsy to get my day started, I went and took a mindful moment down by the lake before a day of endless meetings and appointments.

How are you celebrating #fatbearweek this year? I’m keeping track in the hallway for our students to see as they walk by! by @queerzee

I know Etsy is evil and does not pay their artist very well, and these posters were too cute to pass up. Which one is your favorite? by @queerzee

@devinedhlund bought me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers today. Oddly enough, I didn’t have a vase to fit the whole thing, so we broke it up into two.

(Yes, that is a Chemex, and yes my salt lamp is sweating quite a bit, don’t come after me haha) by @queerzee

The Earth got in the way of the moon tonight and it looked cool. by @queerzee

Did the thing, got a cute sticker! Go vote!!! by @queerzee

A year ago today, I started my three day solo road trip home from Arizona after a wonderful 5 week stay with my parents. So much can happen in a year’s time!
This summer, I had the privilege of being of the representatives from WSSWA to go to @sswaa_official’s legislative institute, and my second delegate assembly. This year we went to Washington D.C.! Through the legislative institute we were given the opportunity to speak with our state legislators to advocate for different bills that support school social workers and school mental health as a whole. What a terrifyingly amazing experience. As I was pushed out of my comfort zone, I was grateful for the experience and excited to hopefully attend again. Thank you to SSWAA for the guidance (and cheerleading) along the way!
Please enjoy all the sites I decided to see, and the awkward selfies I managed to take around our nations capital!
Btw if you live in Wisconsin, make sure you’re registered to vote and to show up at your polling place on August 11!! by @queerzee

Today my mom turns 60! Mom, I owe you everything. Thank you for every early morning phone call, for every time you’ve held my hand through my mistakes, and the endless amounts of patience that’s required to be my mom. Here’s to you! Here’s to many more years of laughter, love, travel, exercise, and more. At your party this weekend, many people asked me, “are you Dana’s daughter?” and I’ve never been so proud to say “yes!” Happy 60th Mom, you deserve every hug, every gift, and every ounce of love you receive. by @queerzee

Day off equals hyperfixation, thank you @artfulbox for getting me started! by @queerzee
