Today officially marks 1 year since I’ve been practicing as a Registered Nurse 🎉 and I am extremely grateful and amazed at where I am today. So thankful for ALL that I’ve learned, skills I’ve gained, connections that I’ve built, & patients I’ve came across!

I am very content with my choice of becoming a bedside nurse first bc the knowledge I’ve gained & foundation I’ve built could not be any stronger. From being able to draw blood, communicate my patients’ needs to physicians, care for those who’re incontinent, perform blood transfusions, & the list goes onnnnn.

Most of all, i am happy that im able to share my gift & shed light on the fact that there are nurses who do care & happy my patients can see & feel that. 🩺🤍

I say it all the time—nursing is truly heart work. It demands so much of us in ways most people may never see, but it’s always worth it. It’s challenging, yes, but the rewards go far beyond a paycheck. In any lifetime, I’d still choose this path… that’s how deep my passion runs. 🤍

My last day at my first big girl job. My night shift crew & work besties honestly made my last night with them so so special. My heart was filled with so much warmth, love, & joy. I am so grateful for everybody that’s apart of a journey that I could never forget. I’m thankful for them for allowing me to grow as a nurse & all the memories we’ve made. 🫶🏾💞. by @quemichelle_

Everyone say hello to your new Mother Baby Nurse!! 🥰🩷🩵

After almost 3 years of being a med-surg nurse (2 years & 7 months to be exact), I’m officially stepping into a new chapter and getting one step closer to becoming a WHNP! I’m beyond excited to begin this next stage of my career in the specialty I’ve always known was meant for me.

I thank God for the doors He didn’t allow to open and for positioning me exactly where I’m meant to be. This is true alignment!

And the timing? Grad school and my new job start on the same day… wow. Here we go! ✨
