It’s crazy how life comes full circle - 25 years ago- I was a studio intern for Raphael Saddiq -while I was in music school for audio engineering in N.Hollywood, and I would take this old Polaroid camera and snap pics of people I got to assistant engineer for or even “run” for (which meant just making sure artists had food and drinks and whatever else they needed - yes even finding drugs and girls sometimes were part of the job 😂) I got to spend a few days with this cat USHER - then a few years later I conceived my son while jamming “confessions” album lol and then last night I took that fully grown son to go watch usher put on one hell of show. ❤️ taken in San Antonio, Texas by @question210

KINGPIN KUSH REGISTERED OVER 4,400 PEOPLE TO VOTE IN LESS THAN A MONTH.

10 stores. 10 voter registration sites. More than 4,400 people registered.

Our customers. Our community. YOU showed up.

Now the FIGHT FOR FLOWER is officially on.

Early voting begins October 19th, and whether you just registered for the first time or you’re already a voting PRO, it’s time to show up again and make your voice heard.

There are powerful interests with massive bankrolls trying to shape the future of THC in Texas, including the alcohol and pharmaceutical lobbies.

They have money. They have lobbyists.

We have people.

And after watching more than 4,400 of you show up and register, we think that deserves a celebration.

So we’re throwing a KINGPIN KUSH GET OUT & VOTE RALLY right here in San Antonio to celebrate everyone who registered, bring the community together and remind everybody that registering was only step one.

DETAILS COMING SOON.

There are levels to this game—and every level of Kingpin Kush has been earned.

Many know us from the purple building in their neighborhood, but behind the storefront is a story built on family, resilience, and a commitment to build things the right way.

It started in Los Angeles, where California taught us the culture, craft, and pace of the industry. We traveled throughout the state, learning the landscape, earning our place, and laying the foundation for Kingpin Kush.

From the beginning, quality was the standard. It was the only way to build a business our family could stand behind—a Texas standard we carried to California. We knew we had to grow our own, build with intention, and take the journey from seed to sale.

The road tested us. We faced economic uncertainty, oversaturation, black-market pressure, and rising crime. We watched the industry reach incredible highs and endure painful setbacks. We saw Los Angeles become a cannabis ghost town. We saw brands disappear and businesses collapse.

But we stayed focused. We kept showing up, kept adapting, and kept building.

What challenged others became an opportunity for us. Our experience gave us perspective, our resilience gave us staying power, and our family gave us a reason to keep moving forward.

Now, the journey comes full circle: California culture, Texas roots, and a family-built vision backed by real industry experience.

Come experience the next chapter of Kingpin Kush.
