What happens when you bring together the sweaty joy of a queer dance floor, the freedom of a play party, and a space where you can actually slow down and connect?

SENSORIA is back for Part II.

A sober dance + play party where you can move, flirt, cruise, touch, cuddle, explore, or simply follow your curiosity wherever it takes you.

We’ll start together with a facilitated exploration of connection, consent and desire, before opening the dance floor and play spaces for the rest of the evening.

No destination. Nothing you have to perform. You decide what the experience looks like for you.

What does Pride mean when you finally find a place where you belong? 🌈

When Luis moved from Mexico to the Netherlands, they were searching for a place to feel at home. What they found was a queer community built on connection, creativity and care.

Inspired by the people around them, Luis founded the Unwanted Words Project, creating safer spaces where stories from migrants, people of colour, and trans and non-binary voices can be heard. Because Pride isn’t only about being seen. It’s about making sure others are seen too. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Join us on June 6 for the launch of: 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 Queer & Feminist Poetry Anthology Vol. II: Queer Joy & Gender Euphoria Edition during Poetry International Festival.

Published by @unwantedwordsproject, this bilingual anthology brings together 51 LGBTQ+ poets and spoken word artists based in the Netherlands.

A celebration of queer joy, gender euphoria, pleasure, softness, pride, and becoming. Tender, loud, messy, magical, and alive. More than a book launch, this is a gathering of queer voices, stories, and community.

Expect an eclectic line-up of poets, performers, music, emotion, beauty, chaos, and connection. Artists who rarely, if ever, share the same stage together.

Pride, poetry and a whole lot of feelings at Rotterdam Centraal.

Last week we took over Stationshal for FEEL PRIDE ON STAGE, bringing queer words right into the heart of the city with performances by Kit, @kellymusyoka , @mimmers483 & @fil.marino.007 & @questoflui , hosted by @vermilion_vale / @keanu.neral .

Thank you @rotterdampride for having @unwantedwordsproject, and to everyone who stopped, listened and shared the moment with us. Queer poetry belongs everywhere. 💜

I think a part of me has been craving this for a long time without knowing how to name it.

To feel closer to where I come from. To understand the culture that raised me with adult eyes. To let México feel like mine again, but in a new way.

These weeks with my family helped me remember who I am, where I come from, what I’m made of and the kind of dreamer I always was. 🥹 Had to come back to reset and recalibrate. Now beware cause I feel locked in and reloaded.
