Not every workout prepares you for the CPAT. The CPAT is an 8-event firefighter physical ability test designed to simulate the physical demands of the job. Youโ€™ll go through: ๐Ÿš’ Stair Climb ๐Ÿ”ฅ Hose Drag ๐Ÿงฐ Equipment Carry ๐Ÿชœ Ladder Raise & Extension ๐Ÿ”จ Forcible Entry ๐Ÿ”Ž Search ๐Ÿงโ€โ™‚๏ธ Rescue Drag ๐Ÿ—๏ธ Ceiling Breach & Pull And hereโ€™s the part that makes it challenging: You have just 10 MINUTES & 20 SECONDS to complete the entire test. Youโ€™re also wearing a 50-lb weighted vest throughout the test, with an additional 25-lb hose pack during the stair climb. That means you donโ€™t just need to be strong. You need strength + endurance + grip + work capacity + the ability to perform while fatigued. Because on the fireground, you donโ€™t get to stop when youโ€™re tired. Train for the test. Train for the job. ๐Ÿš’ ๐Ÿš’ Getting ready for the CPAT? DM โ€œCOACHโ€ and Iโ€™ll help you build the strength, endurance, and work capacity you need to pass the test the FIRST TIMEโ€”and be ready for the job.โœ… #CPAT #FirefighterFitness #FirefighterTraining #Firefighter #FirstResponderFitness by @quezfit
