Meet Trace.

She has a taste for power, and knows exactly how to get it.

With a presence that feels pulled from another era, Trace moves through the world on her own terms.

She prefers her women in pearls, her colleagues in suits, and her environment exactly the way she wants it.

She doesn’t follow expectations.
She studies them.
Then decides which ones are worth keeping.

Trace is a character in Almost… Not Quite, a Spokane-based indie series centered on identity, power, and the dynamics between people who refuse to fit into one mold.

Not everyone understands her.
That’s never been a problem.

Stay tuned for the next character reveal.

The slides feature a woman styled with a vintage-inspired aesthetic, with text describing her as powerful, controlled, and intentional. Some photos from my baby book, mostly written by my mom. Documenting my first year being alive and whatnot. Transcription below:

The first photo has the comment:

"Here is Stephanie with Daddy and that serious look she often gets!

I think she doesn't realize she is just a baby!"

𝑩𝒂𝒃𝒚'𝒔 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔

"Your best friend - and I hope always will be is your big sister Megan Olivia! She makes you laugh... And cry - but you always want to be with her, watch her, follow her and play with her!
You have learned so many things from her -just like the pictures show.
Sisters are a wonderful thing - I am so happy you will always have each other - just like we always sing 'together, together, forever, forever!'"

𝑩𝒂𝒃𝒚'𝒔 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔

"Well Stephanie Ann you are not much of a big talker - I think it's because your big sister Megan doesn't stop - you just enjoy sitting back and listening. 'Ah oh' seems to be your favorite thing to say - with an occasional 'mama' and 'dada' thrown in.

You do like being talked to though - you look and listen as though you understand everything that's being said to you - hey maybe you do! I think once you start - you will talk like a pro!" by @quickbrownfoxes
