Another amazing car from the Gathering event during The Audrain car week an incredibly rare Alfa Romeo TZ3 stradale with only nine units in total of this variation manufactured worldwide! I couldn't believe seeing one on the lawn and I didn't even recognize it at first and to see it driving was incredible! The coach work was done by Zagato who has made some of the most beautiful shapes and designs over their entire history. In this case, using carbon fiber bodywork, and Kamm tail design inspired by the 1960s Alfa Romeos.

It has the underpinnings of a Dodge Viper utilizing the 8.4L Dodge V-10 engine derived from the ACR-X, making 640 horsepower and delivering the power through a tremec 6-speed manual gearbox. Underneath is just as complex and incredible with a tubular space frame, 4-wheel independent suspension, and the lightweight construction and incredible engineering allow this piece of automotive artwork to achieve 0 to 60 mph in just over three seconds and reach speeds exceeding 200 mph.

What an incredible vehicle to see in motion and see on display with so few in existence alone you're unlikely to see one in a collection or on display in a museum or anywhere else in the world! It really stands alone as something special in a field full of incredibly special automobiles! I doubt I'll ever be able to get behind the wheel of one, but I'll never stop trying to drive the most special cars I could possibly imagine and this is up there on the list.

One of my personal favorite designs of any car of all time is Alfa Romeo Disco Volante by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera that performed the coach work on the base 8C Alfa Romeo and even years later, I think it's one of the most beautiful designs to ever come out! If you haven't go ahead and watch the Top Gear video on that artwork and fall in love! I have still yet to see one in person but that day I got to see another incredible example that I never thought I'd see though so hope you enjoy this TZ3 by Zagato.

This has been one of my absolute dream cars since I've been a young dude! The Aston Martin One 77 I've only ever seen them in collections before getting meticulously dusted and cleaned with a fine-tooth comb. So to see one driving into the event and then spinning its tires. Oh my God! What that amazing sight to see! I believe this was a prototype One 77 from what I've heard and what an incredible car with a beautiful view during the Gathering @audrainconcours !

If you have no idea about this car, I don't blame you. It's rare as hen's teeth! Limited to 77 units worldwide. Not sure if this one counts towards that considering it's a prototype but that almost makes it even cooler! A massive 7.3 liter V12 developed in partnership with cosworth makes 750 horsepower to haul this stunningly beautiful lightweight carbon fibre monocoque to a 220 mph top speed! At the time Aston Martin claimed the engine to be the most powerful production naturally aspirated engine in the world when the first car was delivered!

The engineering and manufacturing of the carbon fibre chassis and suspension system was also handled by one of the best Multimatic! In a way, I think the mustang GTD might have taken some inspiration since you can see the rear suspension actuate through the rear glass. Such an unbelievably cool car using all the best companies around the world to develop and make a true hypercar of the time! One day I'd love to drive one to experience the noise, suspension, and joy of the drive because I'm sure it delivers an unbelievable sensation behind the wheel!

I got to pretend to be a fighter pilot just for a little bit thanks to @czinger_vehicles makers of unbelievably cool cars that look like vehicles from outer space! Someday I'll have to get a ride and drive in one to get the full experience! Absolutely fantastic team Of people creating the most radical vehicles on the road with incredible manufacturing techniques that left me in awe! I'm sure most of you know but I don't get too excited for new vehicles but this one is right up near the top of me!

A special thanks goes out to @tw_autoworks for inviting me along for an absolutely incredible day that I won't forget anytime soon! You're awesome dude! And thank you so much for hanging out with me and having a great day! I'd also like to thank @supracheeser_mk5 and @graciegos you're both also fantastic people! Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the rest of the weekend, but I hope you all have a great rest of your weekend! This has definitely been a highlight of my year and next year I'm definitely planning to do the entire weekend!

Awesome cars, great people, great food, great drink, and in one of the most beautiful locations you could ever imagine to stage a car show! @audrainconcours is an unbelievable weekend and if you're not busy you should head down there and see the rest of the events!

I love it when a car has a custom plate that fits it just perfectly! It's hard to imagine finding a better plate to put on a viper than One MPG 🤣😂! Had a great time at the Archive in Framingham. Hopefully we'll be back it's the type of club I would love to be a part of with the vast variety of cars and a great looking facility.

This is just a pure appreciation post for Zach AKA @zs.image he's a fantastic photographer and videographer! That doesn't tell nearly his whole story though. He's a great person and a fantastic friend to have! I had the pleasure of meeting him at the first Cars on the Capitol event of this year and he welcomed me with open arms and introduced me to all his friends. Since then we've been to a bunch of events, including my favorite events of the whole summer Gridlife. At Gridlife we camped together with a whole bunch of other cool friends that I got to meet from his circle and every single person was a great time to be around and an awesome person! Most recently on a rainy morning in Concord we were back at the Cars on the Capitol event. Having a ton of fun even with the rain and gray day. It was still such a great and fun time especially laughing like a lunatic riding around my little scooter 😆!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Zach he's an enthusiast, an artist, and just a genuinely great person! When your photos are up in a gallery, I guarantee I'll be one the first person through the doors to check them out and support them. Hell I hope one day I get to see a whole movie shot and directed in your style! Keep on doing your thing and you're bound for greatness!

I just want to say thank you to everyone as well too whether we were parting together, driving together, talking at some show, or taking photos you're all awesome! If I can ever do anything to help anybody out just let me know. This is one of the best parts of the community by far!

Honestly though Zach, you were my gateway into so much of this this year so THANK YOU! You're an absolute LEGEND and I can't wait to see what heights your photography and videography skills take you to! If there's ever anything I can do to help you out let me know. Always something cool comes out of nowhere at the @mhdcruisein this time it looks to be a Ford GT40 MK2 possibly a superformance tribute car but sounds and looks real as the actual racecars! Ever since Ford versus Ferrari in the movie theaters, I feel like the public have had a newfound appreciation for these Ford GTs. When you watch the epic battles of Le Mans in that movie you can really feel the pressure and intensity of racing for hours on end throughout the night. Just waiting for one mistake to end your entire race or one mechanical failure and that's it possibly a crash and major injuries!

I haven't had the chance yet to fit inside one but I'm sure I could shoehorn my way inside if somebody wants to give me the opportunity 😉! Anyways, hope you have a great rest of your day and make sure you enjoy the nice weather whilst still here falls right around the corner.

A full roll out of show cars just prior to making a track lap for photos at Lime Rock Gridlife Circuit Legends. A lot of RX7s brapping their way out always makes me happy! That was a great weekend making a lot of new friends seeing a lot of great racing and awesome drifting! Already looking forward to next year and jealous of the people going to Laguna Seca that's gonna be an awesome event.

Sometime hopefully not too far away in the future I'll figure out what class I want to run in because gridlife just embodies a great race weekend!

Whether you're drifting, racing, partying, or volunteering in some other way. It is just a great series to be a part of!

This one's from a few years ago with the first test day of the M4 GT4 at Thompson. Just getting acquainted with the car and getting the team all set up with how everything works. I wish there was always more time to test to be honest everything from pit stop planning to driver familiarization and everything in between. Honestly, there's only so many times you can remind a driver to hit the fuel reset after the driver change and yet they forget 🫩. Honestly, I always prefer the older platforms though all these new cars are incredibly advanced, but in a way less satisfying to drive and definitely harder to service! Like look into bleeding a cooling system on an M4 GT4 and it requires this octopus contraption to bleed the system of any air pockets, at least according to BMWs service manual.

Honestly gives me even more appreciation for the rush sr being comparable to a GT4 in lap times with a more engaging and fun racecar. I also love the classics as well too. There's something about pushing something to the limit and feeling the body roll and having to properly shift gears. That's just so satisfying to nail it to the limit and give the car its full potential!
