The Quiet Coast Post started with a simple question:

What if a letter could make someone feel a little less alone? How can I reach people who want more joy and calm in their day?

After a life-changing accident left me mostly bedridden and now homebound, art became my way back to connection. Now, each month, I send handmade mail filled with art, nature, self care goodies and gentle reminders to take a moment for yourself. #quietcoastpost #snailmail #snailmailart #artclub #disabledartist startingasnailmailclub smalljoys theartofnoticing artclub by @quietcoastpost

What is the Quiet Coast Post? & What is snail mail?

The Quiet Coast Post is a monthly snail mail subscription inspired by the quiet beauty of Vancouver Island.

Each month, you’ll receive a hand-curated envelope filled with original art print, a handwritten letter, tiny paper treasures, and a gentle practice to help you slow down and reconnect.

Every theme is different, inviting you into a new coastal moment.

✨ $12 CAD/month (shipping included within Canada). Cancel anytime.

Everything is painted, written, and assembled by hand with love from the quiet coast of British Columbia.

I can’t wait to welcome you. 💙

The making of November’s original art print!

This mixed media collage is inspired by cold water surfing in Tofino, the wild Pacific and riding the waves of life! November is deeply rooted in story and the powerful force of nature.

This month, we’re following the waves of life 🤍. The final prints turned out stunning! 😍 they’re embellished with glittering layers I added afterwards.
Lots of love, Diana

Here’s how I folded the tiny roadtrip map for September’s mail. Try this super easy (and cute) origami technique for your letters the next time you send one to someone special! Adds a little something something extra 🤍✨

AI doesn’t even have hands………
Truly! Thank you for supporting human made art, during a time where art can be made in a few seconds. 🤍Creating, handwriting, hand packing and hand sealing my art takes so much time and energy, both of which are luxuries. Sending lots of love (and your envelopes), Diana #quietcoastpost #artist #mailclub #happymail #westcoastart by @quietcoastpost

holding the final art pieces after weeks of creating, has got to be one of the best feelings as an artist! Who can relate??

Ps: Today is the last day to sign up for October’s mail 🍄🤍
