Clearing out the last of these so have reduced them to €80 each or €150 for any two. I have only one Micro Gold left and 2/3 of the others. Shop links in bio, or DM me, whichever you prefer. Hoping to get these out of here so I can build more delays. Shares appreciated too. Cheers! #quilleffects #guitarpedal #basspedal #diypedals #effectspedal by @quilleffects

SHELF BOOST
A much simpler take on the Organics drive. Low shelf and high shelf boosts running in parallel, blended at the output. With the pots zeroed, signal is untouched. Small boosts to either side will add bass and treble, with a little colour as the gain rises. Use it anywhere in a chain to tighten up your tone.
Details in bio. Cheers! #quilleffects #shelfboost #diypedals #guitareffectspedal #drivepedals by @quilleffects

MICRO GOLD - New version now in a 125B enclosure.
Cascading LM386 based heavy amp-style distortion, similar to an Acapulco Gold. Heavy fuzz/distortion, but much more controllable with an added gain pot. Among other setups, also works great as late stage dirt, and as a desktop amp (with a DI). At high gain it pushes amps into severe fuzz territory.

It's been a while. Please enjoy this ongoing breadboard rework of the Cruel Bloom. I may not change much but before doing the next version (with just minor tweaks and a layout change) it gets a little run through. I don't have the clipping on test because it is fine as is.
I still have some Silicon Impersonators while these are ongoing. Will have a couple of one-off odds and ends over the next couple of months too. See ye soon!

A long and confusing play though of the Silicon Impersonator is up online. Surely one of the worst edited pedal demos out there but it has to be seen to be believed. Link in Bio, hope ye enjoy. #quilleffects #siliconimpersonator #guitareffectspedal #fuzzpedal #distortionpedals by @quilleffects

The 2026 version of the SI pedal is available now in a short run. A clone of a clone, loosely based around the Harmonic Percolator / Sardonic Perpetrator, with silicon components and a heavy gain stage. Wide range from slight drive up to cruel dark sustained fuzz. Gain and Volume controls, clipping for variety and a comp switch that controls the gain response and clipping on one stage of the pedal for more control. Link in Bio. Cheers always for the support. #quilleffects #siliconimpersonator #harmonicpercolator #irishpedals #guitarpedals by @quilleffects

MICRO GOLD - on site now, link in bio.

aka. Aμ - Acapulco Gold style build. 2x stacked LM386 for high output and high gain. 1590A box size, all standard size hardware. Added gain control to tame the input and allow the pedal to stack well with other drives and dirt.

Great as a standalone distortion, or right in front of the amp as a pre. Also great for home recording use - sit it in front of your interface as a tiny, simple home amp for your DAW.

Takes +9V DC center negative power adaptor (standard/Boss style). True Bypass. PCB build, small runs, hand drawn labelling.

Demo in process.

All orders are sent with tracked shipping as standard.

SILICON IMPERSONATOR - 4 Available
A clone of a clone. All Silicon variant of a Sardonic Perpetrator, altered for a different sound. Thick and dark fuzz sounds at high gain and clipping on, cleaned up and dialled back balancing the gain and volume to create warm, smooth sustained tones - great for leads. Clipping off opens up the pedal for more headroom and a more distortion-styled sound. True Bypass. PCB build, small runs, hand made, painted, hand drawn labelling.
Demo link in Bio (old version, new demo soon).

SARDONIC PERPETRATOR: NEW RUN - V2.4
- Updated PCB for all board mounted hardware, small component changes for balanced sound.
- Now refit to top mount jacks and 125B enclosure.
- White splatter textured paint effect finish.

Harmonic Percolator style fuzz pedal with heavy modifications. Germanium & Silicon transistor build, with three added three-way switches means 27 different possible tone configurations, then controlled by the standard volume and harmonics pots. Switches control Clipping type, Fuzz type (shape), and Bass cut - possible to get sounds from crisp and sharp to murky and overblown fuzz. Great on both Guitar and Bass.

Demo in bio, quilleffects.com for more details.

10 available this run and none again likely until next year. Shares etc appreciated always too. Cheers!
