To know me is to know Tovah, and to know Tovah is to love her. I can’t believe such my best friend is really gone forever.

Tovah and I met our freshman year playing volleyball, but she quickly turned into one of my best friends. She was my concert buddy, she was my goofball, she was my cheerleader, she was my safe space, but most of all she was a sister to me.

Tovah had such a big impact, not even just in my life. Tovah had the biggest heart and she always tried to help those who couldn’t help themselves. She always knew the right thing to say. She was supportive and loyal. She was always there to make you smile. Truthfully I feel lost. This doesn’t seem fair. Tovah was such a light in this world I’m not sure how I’m supposed to navigate it without her.

Life is unexpected and confusing, and while I may never understand why things like this happen, I know that she’s in a much better place. You were loved by so many and we already miss you like crazy, Tovah. I love you endlessly, rest easy sweet girl 🤍 by @quinn.freiberg

I can’t believe it’s over.

From 7am games to late night practices, or tough losses and memorable wins, playing and coaching this sport has shaped me into the person I am today. I’ve met so many amazing people, and if it wasn’t for volleyball I wouldn’t have met some of my best friends. This season may not have gone the way we wanted, but I’ll never forget it.
