Release the humility ❣️

“I will commit to the vision” was how I verbalised my fearlessness
Were my clothes were loud?
Or did my appearance raise the volume?
Walking on sensitive palms.
Trying not to step on a crack- the terfs are keeping track
I keep my softness, well mannered
I will hold my tongue-
I speak so well
Groomed. Cosy. Embellished.

The offended are an immortal army.

Why is it safer to pee in the ocean?

The fish don’t care whether I’m a boy or a girl.
On land, Dickfish is the only fish I see care- cultivating the sex trivia. Ready to defend a perception before any attempt to communicate. On and on.

Stomped plastic bottles rattling as I breathe.

People fold

The shadow of fabric has been steamed into a two-part origami card mould.

This is the first satin pleat exploring the frontal plane of a curvy form. At its smallest it’s the size of a toddler, and at its largest it expands to 155 cm.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how bodies fold, expand, and change axis. I’d love to keep exploring different body planes through pleating. Maybe some collaborations? 🤔🥰

Found some thermochromatic fabric and with the help of H Craft Tailors ( @hcrafttailors ), I have a new top to measure the warmth at @londontranspride tomorrow 🏳️‍⚧️💗

The march will begin gathering from 13:00 BST at Langham Place/the A4201 southbound - on the main road near the BBC building and All Souls Church

14:00 - March begins, proceeding south down Regent Street

14:40 - Scheduled Stop at Swallow Street (10 mins) (See recent post on @londontranspride instagram for map📍)

The march will then travel southbound via Haymarket before turning eastbound onto Pall Mall East, and continue down Cockspur Street until we reach our end point…

15:30 - March arrives at Trafalgar Square

Speeches begin at 16:00 and conclude around 17:30.

The entire day runs from 13:00-18:00.

The same body at two points in time, youth and adult. The fabric shadow can be folded down inside the mould to the size of a child, no curves, but no information lost.

Two people make one mould, one mould makes a new person ✨

“People fold” is an origami tessellation of the coronal plane, made to visualise how a body can take up space and change shape during growth. The coronal plane is the vertical plane that divides the body into front and back, anterior and posterior.

This piece has challenged our hands and minds with each fold. It challenged ideas of time as I underestimated the time needed to craft. Biomechanics, mimicry, and movement sit at the core of the craft, the fold becoming a language for how bodies grow, stretch, and hold more than one shape at once.

This feels like my turn round the sun ✨

What I realised when I was 22:

- I started to notice patterns of behaviour in my body

- I realised the body is a machine made of elements from stardust and organised by energy, frequency, and vibration

…

- I rediscovered my attitude

- Started fire flow arts ❤️‍🔥

- I realised my stim toys weren’t just for me, textures can be used to self regulate and I’d been doing it all along with my wardrobe- wait is there others that do this too?

- found emotional security in the way I process emotions

- set boundaries and challenged them

- focused on self enhancement and swallowed my dysphoria 🫧 to prioritise building a lifestyle (tbc if it’s worth it)

- built a emotionally secure home 🔒

23 soon. All the time in the world to be young and wanting more.💫

Working with @pleat made my brain go brrrrrr

I’ve started working on some visual outcomes for my latest hyperfixation- making origami fabric structures that mimic human body behaviours🌟✨- what if you could give a biodegradable material the memory to shape to the human body? It would be an alternative to elastane and polyesters. But before I get too ambitious- pleating is an important skill I must learn - reeling it in, the question is, how can origami pleating teach a surface area to expand and contract? Nature does it all the time.

I received a scholarship from @haberdasherscompany to support my work on @ma_fashionfutures 🩷

Experiments are coming along nicely- looking forward to sharing my new method of making soon ❣️

When the vision is bigger than ego, everything shifts 🧿

This garment exists for a post-intelligence society - a world where blue-collar work is no longer invisible, but augmented, and empowered. A uniform for a future worker, equipped with a built-in AI assistant to support decision making, safety, efficiency, and autonomy (I hope).

Our Tutor said we have high standards, but we didn’t need to create a functional piece. My masters is 11 months- unlimited access to technology, technicians, the material library, and more.

It will fly by and the energy you put in is what you’re gonna get out 🔋

I normally dislike group projects but we curated our team, balancing our skill sets to maximise the potential outcome. It is not just a brilliant outcome- we’ve exchanged skills and learned to unite our working styles.

Fascia has become a topic of fascination for me- it started on my BA when I was looking at the bond between a baby and a parent body. I explored themes in physics, biology, and psychology but kept coming back to sound architecture. There’s something in the engineering of our bodies that keeps it all together, tells our cells what to do, stores information- think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration. Tesla was right.🤍💡
