This week is my fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon’s philanthropy week. As of today we have raised over $26,000 for St. Jude. Our goal for this year is to raise over $60,000!

This fraternity has meant a lot to me throughout my college career. I have met great guys that have pushed me to be the man I am today. They have given me opportunities to serve in leadership positions inside the fraternity, and in other on-campus organizations.

We have had a lot of success in the past few years becoming Greek chapter of the year four out of the five years we have been on campus. We have grown to the second biggest chapter on Louisiana Tech’s campus and top ten nationally in our five years of existence. We have also won national awards like top TKE chapter of the year for two years in a row and currently working on a third! All this while having the top GPA out of all fraternities for the past three quarters!

Out of all those things, the thing that I am the most proud of is the work that we are able to do for St. Jude. I have had people in my life affected by cancer like many of us have. If we can do something like this to make the kids lives and their parents lives easier, we are all for it! If we are able to reach our goal of $60,000 this year that will mean our chapter has raised over $100,000 for St. Jude over the past two years!

I ask that join us in the effort to cure childhood cancer. Thank you very much in advance! The link to donate is in my bio! by @quint_5
