A little while ago, we asked our talented friend Quinten to capture some special moments at one of our events by film.

While we understand how social media helps us stay connected, we’ve always been cautious about taking photos and especially filming at our events. Our top priority is ensuring that everyone at the event feels comfortable and can truly enjoy themselves without feeling like they’re being watched. This is why we implemented a no-photo/video policy for visitors. After discussing with various community members, we decided to experiment with having a professional on our events who would capture some memories and clearly communicate our intentions to the community.

Over the past few years, we’ve worked with talented individuals like Noah, Quinten, Pete, Max, Miyanne, Davy and Ipek, who have all created beautiful content while respecting our principles.

Quinten did an exceptional job of blending in and capturing the essence of the event in a natural and unobtrusive way. His creative, artistic approach truly reflects how we saw this video. We’re excited to share this with you all, as it’s something we’re genuinely proud of!

We also asked @quintenbenjamin about his vision for this project:

“My personal vision for this video was really about collaborating closely with the ORPHIC team. I wanted to create something that truly captures the essence of an ORPHIC event, feeling of intimacy, good music, and acceptance. Filming in a space where cameras are usually absent was a challenge, especially in trying to preserve both anonymity and intimacy.

Since I’ve spent many times at ORPHIC events myself, it was easier for me to blend in, and I think that’s a key element of the video I created. It’s about becoming part of the crowd, rather than simply pointing a camera in someone’s face. Instead of breaking that sense of anonymity, I aimed to flow with the atmosphere, capturing genuine moments. I believe this approach led to something really beautiful, something that reflects the unique energy of ORPHIC.”
