Everett turns 10 years old today. I’ve been a dad for a decade now. I was 26 when he was born, just kind of floating through life with no direction. Having him brought everything together for me.

He’s such a funny and kind kid, also incredibly smart. But in this philosophical and theoretical way. He’s always asking me about black holes and the speed of light, doesn’t give me any time to answer and starts applying scientific facts and equations to his own theories. it’s stuff I don’t really know about and he’ll say “It’s just basic science, Dad.” Lol okay, son. by @quinton.vm

Somehow one of my rolls of film got double exposed but the mashup came out really cool. My trip to San Diego with hang gliders over the ocean cliffs mixed with the neon lights and desert of Las Vegas was the perfect accidental blend.

Las Vegas is a strange mix of neon lights and desert landscapes. Brutally hot during the day, almost cool at night. Loud chaos in the city, dead quiet just outside it.

Life’s been feeling like a blur lately so I decided to capture that feeling with some slow shutter speed - double exposure photos.

I called @anothersouthernemily to be my project partner and we spent Friday night tweaking lights and camera settings.

The results were always somewhat of a surprise and could never be exactly replicated making each capture unique.
