September was cool! Full of travels and adventures, got to clean up a little... yes, outside my regular hard hat and construction vest, I can rock a bow tie and wear a tux for a good cause. Also got to hang out with beautiful people... you know who you are 😉
We also received an Impact Award for the work we are doing for the community college in Monroe, met with the governor, and received recognition from my alma mater for my achievements in Architecture and Construction... Go Cajuns 🦞
Now off to NYC to pay homage to distinguished Honduran-Americans in the US. October will be amazing!!! by @quiquearch

Entanglement… the universe is savvy when the energy aligns to the right frequency. I had arrived super late to my hotel in Albuquerque, so I was torn between going to bed or going to dinner. I decided on the latter. I had over a thousand restaurants to choose from, but I chose Farm to Table.
So before my table was ready, I visited the beautiful farm adjacent to the building, where they grow all kinds of greens that are served with your dinner.
Once my self-guided farm tour was over, I was shown to my table — and to my surprise, a large group of the guys from my Design Meta team were there!!! What a surprise!! I could have chosen any restaurant, but that day the universe wanted me to tag along with them. We were all wowed by the evening we had fun… New Mexico really does have a magical vibe.
And yes, we couldn’t leave without visiting Santa Fe. If you’ve been there, you know what a cool place it is!

A week in Silicon Valley with some of the Brightest minds in Design and Construction was the reboot I needed… and connecting with my team away from the Hyperion project site was a plus.

Great ideas are taking shape, and with all the noise in the media, I choose to create.

I guess I left an impression 26 years ago at my alma mater. 😂 IYKYK

One of my interior design professors, Bryan (first picture in the carousel) recognized me by my nickname when I ran into him at my friend’s gallery during Dirty Linen Night. Twenty-six years later… not bad.

My credo has always been, walk through life, don’t let life walk through you.

And once again, New Orleans reminded me why I love this city. There’s something magical about the way it connects you with people. During my little gallery rundown, I ran into beautiful souls everywhere… some new faces, some old ones… and with the old ones, we picked right back up as if we’d been hanging out the day before.

TBH, you can walk around NYC, SF, LA, Miami… but there’s something different about New Orleans. Here, somehow, you keep running into people who have been part of your story, and occasionally, people who are about to become part of it🫶🏽

Who knows… maybe the power of attraction is just a little stronger in this city. Cheers to old friends, new faces, and a little New Orleans magic. 🌙🥂
