A weekend of drawing live portraits @mellowart.au in Melbourne! ✍️🌷

Back in Sydney now and getting ready for my last two pop ups of the year + almost finishing uni but it’s so nice to look back at all the drawings I’ve done over the the two days at the loveliest Mellow Art Market ☁️

My first art market overseas! A warm weekend in Singapore at Artsobi 🇸🇬 ft. things I drew & food I ate ✍️😋

Thank you @artsobi.sg for having me and thank you all for visiting and enjoying my art! Probably the biggest art event I have participated in so far, and it was amazing to see so many people showing up from SG and even Malaysia and Australia (?!! an incredible surprise) 😆

I’m back in Australia for events in Sydney and Melbourne now, but I will be back in Singapore one day (hopefully within a year or so) 🫶 please keep an eye out for future updates! 🥰

Not pictured: my busy week in Kuala Lumpur running around sourcing materials for my set up, countless hours cutting + painting that cardboard by hand (worth it) and getting my first pre-inked stamps made for you to use at my events 😆😆

Also shoutout to @nanshiistudios for organising the Aussies in SG stamp rally, and my supportive family who flew over from KL with me! 🥹🫶

Celebrate the Moon Festival with Live portraits by @quirkimi and your favourite goodies @burwoodchinatown this Wednesday! 🥮✍️✨

Hello, I’m the artist Kimi :)🌻✨ This will be my first pop up in Burwood! If you’re looking for a fun activity or searching for little gifts this week, I will also be bringing a selection of my illustrated stickers, prints and cards that are inspired by delicious foods and little moments of life.

This Moon Festival, or as I know it, Mooncake/Mid-Autumn Festival, is a time for reunions, good food, as well as stories both grand and romantic 🥮🐇🌕

It happens to be one of my favourite celebrations growing up as I remember we would do a big family dinner, and then gather outside with everyone in our grandparent’s garden to light colourful lanterns and hang them around to our hearts content 😌🏮

We haven’t done that in a while as life tends to get busy like that, but the Moon festival still holds many fond memories. Do you have your own family traditions for this time of year?🎋

Live drawing @laufey in concert 🕰️🌙🐇 Laufey A Matter of Time tour Sydney 2026 (N1)

I still remember the feeling of seeing Laufey perform live for the first time, 2 years ago at the Sydney Opera House 🥹 now she’s selling out stadiums and leaving us dreamers all over the world with happy ears and healing hearts 💓😭

Really appreciate Laufey taking the time to share her words of encouragement, to celebrate creatives and HUMAN art!! the memory of being halfway through this drawing when she asked if there were any artists in the crowd sticks with me because it was only this year I decided to go all in on my silly dream as an artist…

If only my 13yo self could see me now!

Well, I’ve still got a long way to go, but feel it to be true when she says that your wildest dreams are possible and more when you go for it!!
