Happy birthday to me cos I turn 40 allegedly! Feeling lucky to have the family and friends I do and have music as a thing to do forever and help make sense of this being alive and even the getting older part. Here’s a pic of little Raf and two abalone and then a fish too. Oh and in pic 3 Nina got me “Getting Older” by The Clean on 45! Best day. Peace and love to you and yours, Sam. #iwassomucholderthenimyoungerthanthatnow by @quiversss

Dear friends! It’s been quiet over here (and loud with a baby ha), and it’s probably time to share that after so many adventures with this band fam, things are changing in Quivers. It’s hard to articulate how much these people (Mike, Bella, Holly) have meant to me (Sam) over 6+ years of this band. Even longer with Mike when we started the band back in Tassie! Going forward, and learning to balance music and touring with life as a Dad, there’ll be a new and different chapter for Quivers. I’m so thankful we got to make and share Golden Doubt and Oyster Cuts together, and am nervously looking forward to sharing new Quivers songs made with old and new collaborators. I’m wholeheartedly excited to see what each of Mike, Bella, and Holly do next and am sure we will cross paths in different combos down the track!

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to “Oyster Cuts”, an album that took us all over with 70+ shows across this whole wide world. To make a 3rd album is both a privilege and a hard-won-gift, so thank you all and @mattdugred for recording it & @mergerecords for releasing it! Swipe right for a few almost-arts from the one and only @5pt5panoramic - hope everyone is doing OK out there! by @quiversss

What a year that was. For you and for us. Thanks for hanging, listening, supporting new music. We were lucky to see so much of the 🌎 this past year and meet so many great people and bands. Very lucky and tired from really properly touring “Oyster Cuts” all over with 70+ shows I think? Biggest thanks to @macsuperchunk and all the folks at @mergerecords for making such things possible. And our bookers @anniversary_group & @cabinartistsagency

Thank you all and happy NY and 2025xoxo.
