I’m excited to announce the full release of my It Is What It Is EP on Goldfat — a four-track journey through soul, emotion and dancefloor energy.

The EP personifies my characteristic blend of soulful textures and driving rhythmic undercurrents. It’s a self-indulgent exploration of warm, emotive soundscapes, where moments of quiet introspection sit alongside elaborate rhythmic work and carefully placed vocal hooks.

Written across different seasons and shifting headspaces, the EP captures a cross-section of where I was creatively at different points in time. I was also blessed to have joined forces with the vocal talents of Illmatika and Luke Truth on the title track and am honoured that Goldfat gave this music the perfect platform to shine.

I’m incredibly excited to share my new four-track EP on Goldfat Records — a release that feels like a natural progression of my journey as an artist, bringing together the sounds, moods and influences that continue to inspire me.

Leading the EP is “It Is What It Is”, featuring celebrated MC Illmatika and vocalist Luke Truth. A vibrant, summer-fuelled introduction, the track carries an uplifting energy and a simple message: sometimes you have to let life unfold, embrace the circumstances in front of you, and appreciate where the journey takes you. Working with Illmatika and Luke Truth was an absolute pleasure, and I’m incredibly proud of how the track came together.

“Baby U” takes things deeper with a head-nodding, dancefloor-focused stepper — heavier, darker and full of attitude, while retaining that unmistakable melodic touch.

“Notes In Solitude” explores my more introspective side, with warm, melancholy chords creating a reflective atmosphere. It’s perhaps the EP’s most emotionally driven moment, capturing the beauty of being alone with your thoughts.

Closing the journey is “Hurt”, an ethereal and atmospheric track that leaves space for the mood to breathe. Stripped back, emotional and open to interpretation, its solo chord outro provides the perfect conclusion.

I’m hugely grateful to Goldfat Records and everyone who has supported my music. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.

An absolute pleasure to announce the release of my Way Back When EP today on Fokuz Recordings.

There is never really any preconceived ideas when I write music. It is very much a go-with-the-flow scenario. As with all things art, some things work out and some things don’t, but there is a certain beauty in the pure serendipity of it all and not knowing how things will pan out.

Im often quietly sad when a project comes to completion as the fun often comes during the journey, rather than the destination.

These pieces hopefully convey my long standing love affair with all things atmospheric and soulful, along with the frantic dancefloor energy that I still enjoy (at my ripe age!).

I hope you enjoy this selection of tracks and ld love to know which one did it for you and why.
