If you told me at the beginning of the year Shannel was going to run a HYROX with me I’d call you liar and then some 😂, but here we are I couldn’t be more proud of what she was able to accomplish during this run. After months of training and complaining to me how she hates running (still hates running) we took on the Miami HYROX. We learned a lot on this race not only about our abilities but also our compatibility our communication our patience and most importantly the ability to go when the other was down.

One highlight from this run was our agreement for me to do all the farmers carry’s and for her to do none but when we got there I did need her to carry it just for a few seconds and without hesitation she grabbed them which in turn gave me everything thing I needed for the rest of the race

This post is a big shoutout to the person that keeps me going keeps me grounded and keeps me whole, can’t wait for the next one with you 😂❤️

🚨Solo HYROX PB🚨

First hyrox solo run I was cruising a bit until I hit the burpees from there, I just let God take the wheel from cramps to being in my own head the second half of the run was very teaching. A lot of lessons were learned and a new appreciation for the sport was born, I didn’t get the time I set for myself and that’s fine I’m happy to know what I need to work on. Baseline set time to get back in the lab for round 2 in NYC🍎.

Huge shoutouts to the support received during and after the race 🙌🏽
