Truly grateful to celebrate 29 years of life. A decade ago, everything looked so different. My family lost our home, we almost lost my mom, and I was surrounded by fake people.

Today, everything has changed. After 10 years of hard work and unwavering support from my family, friends, and the love of my life, @annieduongz ❤️, I was able to help my family buy a new home.

It's okay to feel weak or go through struggles but it’s not okay to accept that as your forever. Keep pushing. Never give up. Surpass your limits and shape your life into what you want it to be. 🐐🙏 by @qvocki3

I’m so grateful to see change happening. It makes me hopeful when people take the time to educate themselves, have meaningful conversations with our Black brothers and sisters, and take action whether through protesting, using their voice on social media, donating, or other forms of support.

If my kids ever witness or are involved in racism, I hope these moments, these images, and the understanding we've gained about racial equality will guide them. I want them to truly understand what it means to be a human being. ❤️
