What if we stopped competing for space and started creating it together? ✨

Creatrix is about choosing community over competition. Making room for each other, sharing what we create, and remembering that there’s space for all of us.

how do we break the cycle 🔄

I know she did some advocating… a few times. but unfortunately due to the state of the humanity it is not enough.

We can do better as artists and as a society, we can choose to get behind creators with values that fight for the vulnerable, not lead to exploiting a fanbase for personal financial gain.

Sign-ups are open for our next group, SAD Together, at the @charlottestreetarts Centre. Link in qwinncreates bio.

We’re doing the darker months differently this year: think shadow work, but make it cozy and communal. This is a therapist-led group for creatives, neurodivergent folks, and tender-hearted humans who know or suspect they’ve experienced Seasonal Affective Disorder.

Late Fall and Winter are reflective times. Instead of fighting a natural pull inward, we’ll lean into it to explore our inner worlds. We’ll face the truths the dark months bring and discover what they’re here to teach us. Blankets, tea, and creative materials provided!

What to expect:
* Connection and community
* Guided parts and shadow work
* Expressive arts therapy

SAD Together: Fall Edition. Tuesday Evenings. November 17 - December 15. 6-7:30pm

SAD Together: Winter Edition. Saturday Mornings. January 9 - Break on February 6 - March 20. 10-11:30am.

After a wonderful and busy @wearecreatrixcollective launch season, a summer with a kid off school, and a year of the fire horse really living up to its title so far, I’m deeply tired. I think many of us are.

This week I’ve found Music calling to me, asking for connection and co-creation as a means of restoration.

Because it’s ~music~ I struggle to put into words what happens to me when I commune with it this way, but I know it does something to me nothing else can.

Everyone has their own version of this. For me it’s music - but at its core, it’s CREATIVITY. I hope to inspire people to connect with their true nature, to their essence, with their own creative communion.

Sending love as we finish our eclipse season and an intense summer.

Fresh thoughts as we head into our first @wearecreatrixcollective launch event

and I reflect on recent opportunities I’ve been given in the spiritual/wellness space and a career of experiences in the music industry

The wellness and spiritual industry can bypass a leaders capacity to harm by focusing on love and light

The music industry can do the same based on musical talent

Holding duality is so hard sometimes and it remains crucial.

If we really want change we have to let each other grow while not denying the realities of how their actions impact us.

Grateful for being able to ground in wise counsel among friends and @reclamationcollective

Enough simply saying we need change - let’s make it happen.

And fill our cups in the process!

Creatrix Collective is a little (and we mean LITTLE!) group of femme creators with living in Montreal, Fredericton, and Hawaii. We’re hosting ceremonial show nights meant to break the mold of both music and wellness events. With a circular stage, carefully selected vendors, musicians and presenters, we make spaces for every person to nurture the Creatrix in themselves.

We are all tired and hurting alongside our sweet Mother Earth. The onslaught of suffering is real. It’s harder when we don’t remember who we are. Our Mother is a creative force - and she made you. We aren’t meant to be this isolated. Let’s get together and reclaim what is ours - the feminine is so back.

DATE: Saturday August 15
SCHEDULE: Starts at 6, ends at 10pm
- Opening Ceremony with Qwinn
- Trauma-Informed Yoga to Bass Music with @sara.integrativetraumatherapy
- Music and Ritual with @fawna.music @qwinncreates @_shelajit_
- Closing Ceremony with Qwinn

ONGOING THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT
- Tattoos with @kcanon.tattoo
- Tooth Gems with @styledbyshenece
- FREE Numerology & Psychometry Readings with @cronecodes
- Kombucha from @flokodrinks
- Vendors selling art, jewellery, and more
- Access to an Interactive Altar
- Sensory station
