Year 3 ✅

•Thank you seniors and coaches for such a great year, this will be one I never forget. All the memories I made this year I will cherish for the rest of my high school career and my entire life. Thank you to my teammates for being there for me along the way, this season would not have been as good as it was without you guys. Had a ton of ups and downs this season, but glad I could end the season with my teammates on top with a championship. AGTG and I can’t wait for what’s to come! by @r.andersonthrows

Really good meet today was able to put together a solid series after tweaking a couple things in my technique, really looking forward to the rest of the season and to keep building! Solid meet today having my first ever double win in shot and disc. Disc still isn’t what I want but throwing in a 25 mile an hour tail wind we will take the win. Super excited about what’s coming and we still building! #shotput #discus #throwing #highschool taken in Dallas Center - Grimes High School by @r.andersonthrows

Sophomore season done and wow what a season! Didn’t end exactly how we wanted it to but I’m still grateful for the opportunity I got this year to compete at the highest level. Thank you to all the seniors and coaches who supported me along the journey. Can’t wait for what the next few years have in store!

Good last couple weeks of throwing gearing up to state. Was able to hit a pr of 155’10 at districts qualifying me for state! Still know there’s a lot left in the tank. Shot didn’t end how I wanted it to but was still able to pr at our home meet on Monday with a 47’6.25”, and was able to improve a lot of things on my shot compared to last year. Can’t wait for state next week! by @r.andersonthrows

First half of season post! Started out the season with an indoor shotput or of 43’3. Pretty proud of how far my shotput has progressed. I’ve continued to pr in the disc until I hit 152”5 at pella Christian. Still a lot of stuff to work on and excited for the rest of the season. taken in Pella Christian Schools by @r.andersonthrows

High School track is off to a bang with a little usatf throwing. Proud of my pr in the disc of 115 just a few weeks after transitioning to the 1.6k. Shot could use some work but we’re slowly transitioning to the spin. Can’t wait for regionals. taken in Ames, Iowa by @r.andersonthrows
