LOOK AT ME MOMMA! 💔💫

Around this time last year, I was 100% broken, not knowing if I even wanted to keep living. But through all the pain, I kept smiling. I’m not saying I’m 100% healed, but I ain’t 100% broken no more either.

This trip, staying at your house and going through all your pictures, was exactly what I needed. I promise I’m going to keep doing my best to make you proud.

It’s me, your golden child. ❤️

After you left me, I told myself I would never come back to Jersey City. There was nothing here for me anymore because you were no longer here. But not being here to see you laid to rest was slowly killing me inside.

So I came all the way back here just for you. Just to stand here and tell you happy 1-year anniversary up there in that beautiful sky. ☁️🕊️

I hope you’re watching over me every single day. I miss you more than words could ever explain. I love you forever, Momma, and I want to thank you for everything you’ve ever done for me.

Dear Son, 💙

Moving to Georgia 5 years ago was one of the scariest decisions I’ve ever made, but deep down, I knew I couldn’t be the dad you needed from another state. I knew I had to be here for you—to watch you grow, guide you, protect you, and be there for every step of the way.

I want you to know that no matter how old you get or where life takes you, I will always be there for you. You will never have to question if your dad has your back.

I also want to thank you for saving my life. After losing my mom, I honestly didn’t know which way to go. I was hurting in ways I couldn’t explain. But knowing that you needed me made me realize just how much I needed you.

You gave me a reason to keep going when I felt like I had nothing left.

I’ll spend the rest of my life making sure you know how loved you are.

To My Son,

I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, but having you was never one of them. I just want to take this time to say thank you for making me the man I am today. I needed you way more than you’ll ever know.

You gave my life purpose, taught me what unconditional love really means, and made me want to be better every single day. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. No matter how old you get, I’ll always be proud to call you my son.

Thank you for being my reason to keep pushing, my biggest blessing, and one of the best things God ever gave me.
