@english_aeropress_championship Birmingham 2026 @ithaka.coffee
was really fun!
@minusmob cascara syrup is amazing

loved talking to competitors and seeing the different approaches to brewing aeropress.
also got a chance to try some of the coffee which was awesome.

Still getting used to the Nikon D80, got some good shots tho and i learned how to use Raw Therapee which is cool.

so excited to try these!

isolating just the fermentation method as a variable makes it much clearer what changes each process makes to the same green coffee.
also bonus i get to try tasty coffee 😋

@faculty.coffee is a great multiroaster cafe in the heart of Birmingham, just a stone's throw outside New Street Station.

Always a variety of coffee and teas available with delightful bakery items and cakes and more recently, brunch options too.

Weird yet wonderful flavours from the basil basque cheesecake and also an equally strange and tasty long black with notes of strawberry and bubblegum.

One of my favourite things is the rotating menu of pourover options (which also has a good range of price options) dialled in specifically to each coffee on the @orea.uk v3 with the @option_o.coffee lagom o1.

The retail shelf also has a varied selection of equipment and coffee alike.

Amazing event lots of talk about origins and farm level processes and support for farms.
@thecoffeebarcollective @liima.coffee @indespoke

Very interesting origins 🇳🇬, 🇸🇱, 🇨🇳, 🇦🇺.

Australia suprised me the most very low altitude coffee thats still tasty and unqiue.
The Chinese typica is one of the most elegant Chinese coffees ive tried which admittedly isnt very many.
