This weekend Velvet & Friends are going to be playing classics (2005 and earlier) in aid of Movember. This charity's mission is to change the face of men's health through funding men's health projects around the world 🩵

"We need your help to stop men dying too young" ~ Movember

Form what I've been told, we'll be hearing classics from a variety of genres. Some of us are revisiting our younger days; others are delving into the history of their favourite more modern tracks. There might even be recreations of sets played 20 or more years ago!

Day 2 of our Velvet & Friends Pink October fundraiser event in aid of @breastcancernow is underway! Day 1 was brilliant - huge thank you to everyone involved 🩷

The work that this charity does has helped so many people, including members of my family.

We have a fantastic line up of DJs and other streamers! Hope you'll be able to join us over this weekend for great tunes and friendly, supportive chat. We'll be promoting Breast Cancer Awareness Month through links to advice sites too.

This weekend I'm marking my first anniversary of becoming a Twitch partner by holding a raid event over three days! We're also celebrating raising over £50k for charities by the amazing Velvet & Friends community ❤️

The Friday and Saturday theme is anything goes 🎶 For the Sunday event I've asked the DJs taking part to play broken beats, so expect breaks, dnb, jungle, trip hop and more! 🎶

1. @jon.gurd & @resetrobot at Splendor... loved this loads. It was so special to have been there for their live debut ❤️

2. Jon at the Cove. Boring AF and full of yunes and melters

3. Reset Robot played an absolutely brilliant set at the Yacht Club. (Worst clash possible though as overlapped with Jon...)

Last weekend I was in Birmingham playing in the inaugural Familiar Frequencies event. I had an absolute blast watching everyone dancing to my set! It was a fantastic weekend, and all the more fun for having a couple of my Velvet & Friends Twitch team members also on the line-up. We forgot to record our sets so decided to play them today (14/4) in a mini raid event, supporting Alzheimer's Research UK 🧡
