What a weekend… Huge thank you to @resiliencehopkinton for helping make this weekend possible!

These workouts were no joke. It was a very emotionally, mentally, and physically challenging weekend, and I was seriously humbled. They left a bitter taste in my mouth and got me fired up for what’s ahead.

Thank you Jesus for keeping me surrounded and supported by the best crew. Excited to keep working, keep pushing, keep learning, and keep making memories with the Resilience family 🫶🏼 taken in Resilience Hopkinton by @r_lashley

If you told crazy 4 year old lash, who was put in gymnastics class to simply burn off some energy, that one day she’d be a division one gymnast, I wouldn’t have believed you. But if you also told 18 year old lash, committed to UPenn, absolutely in love with gymnastics and excited for the next four years, that it would be the most exhausting, disappointing, and heartbreaking four years because of the environment I was in, I also wouldn’t have believed you. While I’m sad to have ended my gymnastics career the way I did, I’ve learned a lot through my experience at Penn and I hope and pray that no other athlete feel worthless and hated and have their love of the sport taken away. I want to thank my parents, my sisters, elite gymnastics academy, and my closest friends for supporting me and encouraging me for so many years. Onto the next chapter… by @r_lashley
