It is a beautiful song, written by @samscribed composed by @asusantika and produced by @pranavmuniraj. So we took it up as a challenge to make a video with NO budget. Amazing camera by @sathish_amruth - @murali.jack helped. @izimbra.i listened to all crazy ideas and made it possible, Sam and kevin helped. @jellykumar was the one and only post production guy, who did everything. Nalla nadichaanga - Susantika and @kevjeremy Nalla blue ah @keerthana_alageshan gave us a poster. @yaazhifilms lend us few gadgets, @aadukalam_multisportfacility gave us the space. @m0shuu helped with everything on shoot days. @haya_dp brought colours @vasim_khan_n and @aravindnaga.in last minute la removed whatever unnecessary. Susantika made kick ass promos! by @ra.m.ya

Piece by Piece on 17th April was a first-time experience for us who organized it - in many different ways. We were trying to create something diverse with interconnections. Some of it we might have achieved, some we failed. But there were many, many things to learn at every step. The attention and support of the audience for every sharing throughout a two and half hours long program was unforgettable. We cannot thank @medai.thestage enough for patiently putting up with our last moment panic trips. Thank you very, very much to our guest participants - Agni Pradeep, Indhumathi, Katheeja, Sanjana Ganesh, Susantika, entire crew of the four films we shared and each and every friend who came forward to help us, for making this evening so special. by @ra.m.ya

Ticket link in bio. An evening put together by independent artists working with camera, body and text. There will be films, poetry, texts, comix and a ‘Poetry Wall’ where the audience is welcome to pin a poem/ text/ song they would like to share. A few words that describe and question the works at ‘Piece by Piece’ are image, poetry, movement, text, domesticity, intimacy, resistance and dance. Despite differences in genre the artists find that their works and ways of working speak to each other and they would love to hear more from their audiences. Poetry / Text: @agnipradeep_rm @indhusakthi04 Katheeja @galeejflowa Film: ‘In Rooms’ by @a.kurien ‘She See Sea’ by @ra.m.ya (based on a poem by @veronica_vodkaowisky ) ‘Untitled’ by @aditi_bheda (based on a poem by Tishani Doshi) ‘Roja Towers’ by @asusantika Comix: ‘Hands’ by @yetanotherutopian Kalakki by @sharandevkarshankar by @ra.m.ya
