The cave.

This sound being released, is a sound of refuge and hiding in God, An echo in the secret place. Reminding us that no matter the struggle the lord is our refuge just as David was able to seek refuge in the lord. It really a call to the secret place, a yearning to seek the father’s face.

Had to make this one a post as well 😭. I was at a powerful event last weekend and one that stuck with me from it is “Be Still.”

What is your sound in the silence?

Sometimes as children of God we get caught up in constantly speaking to God, but do we ever just sit down to listen to his voice?
We have request that we bring to the father, but what is the father requesting of you?
There is an importance to keeping still in the presence of God, it’s like a conversation and a conversation works both ways. Let us hear the voice of God!!
I pray that this reaches the heart of Gods children and shifts us to a different posture.

Who is like our God? The song has really been speaking to me these past couple of months, shifting me to be more in awe of him!

So this post was originally on my story but I had to make it a post as a reminder.

As people of God we must understand that worship is not about the songs, although they can help us worship. It is not about the instruments, it’s not about the voices.

These are all ways of which we can worship the father, but we must understand that it’s giving reverence to the father, sometimes worship can be those still moments in his presence, sometimes true worship doesn’t even need a sound or a song to be raised. Let’s not be little Worship to a song.

To some Worship is a genre, but to others it’s a life style. I will tell you this life style is not easy but it’s 100% worth it. There is such a wonder of being able connect to the father through sound,a wonder that I am still unfolding. Using my gifts to serve has changed my hearts posture for the better good. Bring me back to that place of true Worship. To “Worship him in spirit and truth” because “that is what the father seeks”.

It’s truly a blessing and an honour to be on this journey, to use my gifts to serve the most high 🙌🏾
