Blood of Truth & Traitors x Aria Ashbrook 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This series is 🤌🏼.

While the pace of this book is certainly slower than the first 2 books, I still really enjoyed it. I’m invested in these characters and this world that I didn’t mind the change of pace too much.

Rose is strong and determined to do what’s best for everyone still, despite everything thrown at her. Kyor is giving the best Xaden Riorson vibes and I am here for it. He’s dedication to Rose is everything 😭

The last 30% of this book wrecked me 💔 I haven’t cried over a book in so long but this had me sobbing.

Have you read this series?

The Incendiary x LJ Claren 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Silversmith was one of my favorite reads of 2025 and its sequel did not disappoint.

Aryella’s growth from where we left her in book 1 was amazing to see. She was strong and determined to prove herself despite her title.

I loved the dual timeline, I loved reading about how their relationship started and became this absolute blueprint of longing and yearning. The little notes before each chapter really added to this 🥹

Elias was so frustrating. His questionable decisions and the way he reacted to a particular moment have put him in my bad books, despite how he tried to make up for it.

And that ending?! I sort of felt it coming but it didn’t make it any less enjoyable. That final line 🤌🏼

I can’t wait for Book 3 ❤️‍🔥

In Stormy Weather x Chelsea Curto 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was a really fun read. I loved Chelsea’s DC Stars series so I thought I’d give this ago. I enjoyed the weather aspect of the story, it was really interesting. Although sometime it was a bit info heavy.

Loved the MMC. Protective yet let the FMC make her own choices. Even if one particular choice toward the end of the book made me roll my eyes. I felt like I was her mother the way I was so annoyed with how dumb she was being considering the circumstances 😂

Anyways, it was a fun read. Also this particular quote really resonated with me at the time as I was going through a really tough period at work, borderline burnout. So needed to see that. ⛈️

August🌻

4 books read ✅

Drank a lot of coffee, went on a lot of walks, ate a lot pg good food and spent time with family & friends ✨ . Finally felt like myself again after a near burn out from work in July, the Michael Scott slide represents that 😭

September brings my last month in my job. Change scares me but this is needed 💓

My favorite time of the year is here 🍂
