Before the mountains.
Before the mystery.
Before the call sign was lost.
There were just words….and a lot of crumpled paper

The school days, the music classes,
The strumming, the plucking,
The notes a little higher, the voice almost hoarse.
The laughter, the banter,
The group of guitar girls huddled by the bonfire,
And the soft humming of the strings.
It’s the world’s oakiest guitar —
Not perfect, not polished,
But every chord holds a memory.
Every scratch, every bend,
A story stored in the notes… and somewhere beyond. by @raanasami

room with a view—
where silence echoes
louder than a heartbeat.

Thoughts drift,
fluttering across the endless blue,
caught between sky and soul.

Is it nothingness?
Or vastness?
As deep
or as wide
as the reach of your imagination.

Still you sit.
Still you breathe.
Eyes fixed on the hush—
watching, waiting.

Will this moment freeze,
turn into ice and still more silence?

But now—
it is green,
white,
and blue.

The valley stretches,
cool to the mind’s eye,
a balm of light and air.

Here,
in the hush of Skardu,
you are held
by the vastness
and the quiet grace of now. by @raanasami

Youm-e-Takbeer Mubarak, Pakistan! 🇵🇰💥

On this day in 1998, the mountains of Chagai roared, and the world took notice — Pakistan became the first Muslim nuclear power. Not just a nation on the map, but a force to be reckoned with.

Let’s raise a proud salute to the legends who made it happen:
🧪 Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan – the father of our nuclear program, a symbol of brilliance, courage, and national pride.
🎖️ Our armed forces – the guardians of our borders, our skies, and our dreams.
🧠 Our scientists, engineers, and unsung heroes – who didn’t post selfies, but made history.

Now, here’s the twist:
We commemorate this epic day… by sleeping in, binge-watching dramas, and ordering extra raita with our biryani. Because nothing says strategic strength like a “Netflix and nap” kinda nationalism, right? 😅

But Youm-e-Takbeer isn’t just about a successful nuclear test.
It’s a reminder: that when Pakistanis unite with vision, discipline, and purpose — we split atoms. We move mountains. We make history.

So today, don’t just wave a flag.
Ask yourself:
Are we honoring their legacy — or just enjoying the day off?

May our strength always serve peace.
May our power reflect wisdom.
And may we be known not just for what we detonated — but for what we built afterward.
