The city taught me patience before success ever could,
Finding extraordinary moments in familiar neighborhoods.
Every frame became a memory I refused to let escape,
One photograph at a time, Rabbivision started to take shape

Then I got close enough to capture souls in a stare,
Trust ain’t built with a lens, it’s the energy you wear.
Every portrait told a story that words couldn’t repeat,
Sometimes silence says more than a caption beneath.

Then the stars came around, but the mission stayed the same,
Never chased the celebrity, I respected the name.
‘Cause fame fades fast when the lights all dim,
I’m still looking for the human living underneath them.

Now I’m flying over everything that made me who I am,
Seeing patterns in the places where I first learned to stand.
Funny how the higher that I go, the clearer I can see
Legacy ain’t looking down, it’s remembering where you used to be.

There’s nothing I love more than creating beautiful visuals that center our stories. 🤎

When my friend @dawanthedreamer reached out earlier this year with a vision for his #SHOWMOREAFFECTION campaign which is rooted in encouraging Black men to embrace softness and show more love toward one another, I said yes…immediately. No real game plan, no budget…just trust that we would figure it out, intention, and a shared passion for shifting narratives. We reached out to our peers, connects and everyone in-between to make this come to life. S/O to Creative Theory Agency and my Creative Crew team for coming through in the clutch! 🤝🏾

We all wore every hat needed to make it happen. Producer, PA, Set Designer, Hype Team and every other role you could imagine. That’s the power of intentional storytelling. When the message is real, it will move you to get it done by any means necessary.

This project was rooted in love, vulnerability, transparency and truth. I’m honored to have helped bring it to life. Because to truly change the world and the narratives we’ve been handed, we have to be the mirrors for one another. Telling stories of Black men taking a step closer to healing, connecting, and embracing their inner softness isn’t just powerful, it’s necessary. We need more of this. The world needs more of this.

To the men who vulnerably shared their stories, this is what doing the work looks like. Thank you. 🙏🏾

Name of the this series is “Fail Up”. We will use the lessons of our failures to get better. I’m talking about scripting vs speaking naturally on this post. I love to just speak naturally. I don’t want to make filming myself harder than what it is already so scripting has helped me even though I still freestyles from time to time. Take what you need from it.

I always wanted a photo printer. I would love to gift huge prints to family and friends. Now this ain’t the big printer, but I’m so happy I can create tangible photos that can display memories.

We made magic! 💫

From one conversation with @u_luv_aamira about how she wanted to celebrate her 10 year anniversary of @loveleewine to me putting my ideas on paper to the Creative Crew making sh*t come true!

I am sooooo in awe to all those who showed up for us to make this happen in just about 2-3 weeks! Every. Single. Person. we called answered and held us down! THIS is what Issa meant by networking across. I am honored to have made what I’ll say is officially my 1st ad spec with this crew! Yall hold a special place in my heart. (More on them later 🥹)

Go Ride NYC 2025

I knew it was happening but didn’t know where. I woke up the day of and saw the location and decided to pop out. I’m so glad I did. It was controlled, met some great people, saw a couple fellow photographers and shot something on the fly. Tell me what you think

I’m always down for a last minute shoot when the vision is clear. @warning_explosive texted me about possibly doing a shoot on Sunday. We talked on Monday about her mood board on Pinterest, confirmed Wednesday for a Thursday shoot, with photos for her to post on Saturday.

@warning_explosive you were great. I cannot wait for the next one.

This was my favorite photo from @vegandale. Rick Ross’s set was great. He delivered!!
After snapping a bunch of pics I put my camera down to be in the moment. I love to see ton of people coming together giving the same energy. @richforever was killing it. The crowd giving that energy back. People with phones up recording to send to their group chats. There was one on FaceTime sharing the moment with their friend.

After enjoy a couple tracks, I put my wide angle lens on and captured this. This made my night.

“My first roll”
First of all, shout out to you @warrenscochrane for gifting me the Minolta XL401. I really appreciate it. Not going to lie, I had this camera sit for a while. I only touched it when I was cleaning my camera closet. One day, my curiosity got the best of me and finally decided to learn how to shoot on film. YouTube held me down with tutorials. Everything seemed to work but, it was this one thing I couldn’t check unless I physically opened the camera up. I wasn’t going to do that. So, I bought a rolI of film and took the risk, flying it out to Vegas for Complexcon. I had this camera on my hip the entire time, knowing that there was a possibility it wouldn’t produce an image when processed. Silly but very much thrilling.

I’m very excited this Super 8 camera is working. It’s a different tool to tell stories with an interesting twist. This is my first roll!!

FYI, each roll is only 3 mins of footage. This is going to be an expensive habit smh. taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @rabbitvision
