Interrupting your ad feed 🥴 for some life lately pics. Well some, not—lately even… just currently in my thoughts.

1. Beautiful Andem photographed in Kakadu. Love this plants many talents.
2. A recent Cocktail Reception for work. It was a lovely evening spent behind the camera for an event celebrating hardworking medical volunteers.
3. A backyard nature pause — I mean, who wouldn’t
4. More Andem - Still playing and exploring edits.—I can’t escape to the Northern Territory as much as I’d like to now as my big boy, at the ripe old age of just-turned 21, has landed a dream job elsewhere 😊. Weirdly missing visiting him there already!
5. Walks around Larakai
6. Blood moon in Samford by my other clever son. Love that he’s always keen to photograph the sky by @rachaelhonner

Time flies, this is one side of my office from a 2 year painting mural journey. Painting a mural on the wall carries its own kind of pressures. I was also unaware that I'd end up doing my entire creative space. Looking forward to finishing the other side, only one corner to go :) #muralpainting #muralart #muralpainting #interiorstylist #creativespaces #art #worldofinteriors #roomoftheday by @rachaelhonner

A happy little still life corner of my kitchen. The rest of my house can be feeling weathered, lived in and hectic. But it's nice to have that one little corner that makes you smile. A special thankyou to @robmatthewswoodturning for the small wood vessel. Your craftsmanship is so exquisite 💛. #interiorstylistbrisbane #stilllife #interiorstylist #worldofinteriors #styleandshoot #styleandshootsessions by @rachaelhonner

I’m jumping in early for World Smile Day (October 2) and sharing a smile photo and a reason to smile.

So what does a smile mean to me?
Most days it’s my two boys who make me smile. They’re so full of surprises, very entertaining, and I love hearing about their adventures. I’m a lucky mum. I also love spending time in nature (with camera—is an added bonus).

I’m also tagging @operationsmileaustralia for the work they do delivering cleft and craniofacial surgery (smiles) to children living in low‑resource countries.

World Smile Day is all about spreading kindness for a cause, so if you’re sitting on a selfie that’s been waiting for a feel‑good reason to be shared, consider this your invite 💕.

And if you feel like joining in, you can tag @operationsmileaustralia to add your smile to their gallery of support to help spread awareness. Every child deserves to experience the joys of a smile. And this surgery is life changing for a child in need.

I’ll tag a couple of people below who’ve made me smile on here over the years 😊 — join in if you feel like it.

The best thing about a photoshoot at Aggie’s house is @aggie_ryan , of course. And I say this because it’s always the people who live and love within the walls of a home that make it special.

Congratulations on your home renovation Ag’s —it looks beautiful. Well done all.

And thank you for a gorgeous morning of big laughs🧡. I do think the north Brisbane suburbs look good on you.

Not sure if its the old school Chinese restaurant or the calming river view—but Moon River on Dunghutti Country always delivers a calm.

Silent storms are a beautiful watch too!

I’ll never forget hearing that soft, low roar in the early hours of the morning—just outside our tent.

It was one of those crazy moments in life when you feel so very alive 🧡.

***Note: All images were photographed using a 450mm telephoto zoom lens, and all exact geotags have been removed to protect the wildlife. A small donation has also been made to African Wildlife Foundation for this social media share.

These are just some of my favourite wildlife photos from the beautiful Okavango Delta. We visited the incredible Moremi Game Reserve and were so well looked after by Jooh and the team.

From our African trip back in July: I love how amazing things unfold in Africa. * All wildlife images taken with a 450mm telephoto lens. And a small donation has also been made to the African Wildlife Foundation for the wildlife images shared here.

From one moment to the next, the most unexpected things cross your path. A woman in beautiful clothes. A donkey driving its own cart. Wild animals. Crazy beautiful landscapes ✨. It's such a uniquely beautiful place:

1. Elle on his way out 😉 Moremi, Botswana
2. Sunset in Ghanzi District before the freeze set in for the night
3. Me—hello 🙋‍♀️
4. Views from Spreetshoogte Pass, Namibia. Some of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen 😮
5. ^ More magic —same spot
6. Sossusvlei - a big wind storm moved us into a chalet. So good after 5 hours of wind turbulence hitting our roof tent
7. Our T5 camp before the dust storm hit

A recent photography shoot for dear Edwina @mrs.rabbitt

These photos were a gift for her builder @wadecrawfordbuilders and Designer @jhomeandfashion - So we have a mix of shoot styles in this bunch.

Every nook tells a lovely rich story. Well done to team @mrs.rabbitt @jhomeandfashion @wadecrawfordbuilders by @rachaelhonner

Your Thursday reminder: nature is magic! ✨

Meet my tawny frogmouth friend from the weekend. We hung out, she was in a slight pickle Re: learning to fly. I was still in my pyjamas and went mildly feral at the magpies swooping her. Loved seeing her family of 3 gather nearby, trying to help out. They say it takes a village, and sometimes that’s true.

Last seen, snoozing soundly with her mum on a branch🐦🐦. Officially adding tawny frogmouths to my favourite bird list

Fridays are for sharing some landscapes of dear places:

1. From a visit to see Oli in Darwin on Larrakia Country. A capture of the colourful stone at Nightcliff foreshore. So loved the vivid colours and details of the foreshore.

2. Creek reflections from a walk with my girl Daph at home in Samford, Kupidabin 💚
